I bought a UK eSIM for a holiday. It worked in England and Wales, but stopped working on the ferry across to Dublin. Despite easy chat via their app, they couldn't work out what the problem was. I worked it out later when I signed up with another eSIM provider for a UK eSIM. The next provider told me Dublin isn't in the UK, so it wouldn't work there.

Hi Robert, We’re sorry our support did not give you a clear explanation when the connection stopped in Dublin. A UK-only plan does not include the Republic of Ireland, where Dublin is located. The coverage limitation needed to be explained before suggesting further changes to phone settings. Please email [email protected] from the email address used for your order and mention your Trustpilot review. We’ll review the support you received and work with you to put things right. Warm regards, Your friends at eSIM.dog

Bought a 7 day 1Gb Zimbabwe eSim which worked so sporadically as to be worse than useless. Disappointing. Later bought a South African eSim and it worked perfectly.

Hi there, An intermittent connection makes a travel eSIM difficult to rely on, and we’re sorry your experience in Zimbabwe was disappointing. The cause of these interruptions remains unclear because we cannot yet identify the order from this review. Identifying the plan is the first step toward resolving the connection issue. Please email [email protected] from the email address used for your order and mention your Trustpilot review. We’ll review the connection issue and work with you to put things right. Warm regards, Your friends at eSIM.dog

I tried to install a USA eSim and the installation failed. Stupid me the cost of the eSim was so low, I bought and tried two more times with the same result. Installation just failed on a late model Pixel phone. Good news, their AI bot refunded all three purchases vis email. Again, I forgot this was the company I had problems with, I purchased a Euro eSim for a friend, this time for an iPhone. The exact same scenario. It would not install - and I had no issue getting a refund. In response to eSim.dogs response: Thanks for your input. However in both cases, after scanning the eSim, your eSim simply failed to properly install, leaving me in limbo with no option but to start over. The esims could not be accessed at all! When I purchased other brands, installations were quick and seamless. Whatever the cause, your eSims required follow up and your email bot called Fin couldn't help except to refund my purchases.

Hi Marc, We’re sorry the same installation problem came back across several purchases and two different phones. The three Pixel profiles appeared in the phone’s SIM list, so the next step should have been to open and enable the added line instead of scanning the QR again. The later iPhone order used a different route, so our previous advice to switch routes did not address the common failure pattern. All four purchases have been refunded. We’ll write to you directly with the checks for an already-added eSIM and a clearer way to resolve a QR that stops working after the first scan. Warm regards, Your friends at eSIM.dog

Currently 2 weeks into a 4 week Asia esim and used in thailand/Philippines/Taiwan/Malaysia, been no issues at all. Very very impressed with the service vs cost. Highly recommend

Aaron, four countries in two weeks is quite a test. We're glad your Asia eSIM has stayed connected so far and that the cost made sense for your trip. Thanks for telling us how it's going. Your friends at eSIM.dog

Your friends at eSIM.dog

These people left me practically stranded at night in a foreign city with three underage kids. My 5Gb card stopped working at exactly 300 mb. I am in IT since 1999 and believe me, there was NOTHING wrong at my side. They just provided me with 300mb an even those were miserable. It said 5g but it barely uploaded images. Luckily I found an open WiFi from somebody's home network and was able to call BOLT to return us to our apartment. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Hi Ivo, The connection stopped far too early in your trip, and we’re sorry this made an already difficult evening harder for your family. The plan still had most of its 5 GB allowance when the data connection stopped. The exact cause is unclear, so the case needs a direct resolution. We will contact you directly and bring this case to a proper conclusion. Warm regards, Your friends at eSIM.dog
