Nice idea but...
Nice idea but... Little information about the companies. Very high fee of 5%. Cannot invest in some of the listed companies, no idea why. Hold period 2 to 7 years which might be too long/risky for many. Minimum investment is $10k. Or sometimes more? Not sure, still many questions, and that leads me to the next point: The website is not very intuitive. Needs some time to understand how it actually works. Edit: Now, Equityzen wants my personal info, otherwise this review will be deleted. Great, trustworthy company...

Good experience, lower price
I was able to buy a preipo stock at a lower price than some others. I was informed as to its progress. A good experience overall

Great experience overall
Great experience overall. Wish after the initial agreement was signed, there was more communication in terms of updates as the process ended up taking longer than expected and I had to continue to check in every couple weeks for a status update.

No transparency and total loss of investment
I made a $20k investment through EquityZen. One day, I got an email saying all the investment was lost. There was no explanation or any documents provided. This company doesn't provide any transparency and don't invest your hard earned money through this platform.

Slow response to emails
Slow response to emails, nobody to talk to on the phone. Chat responder knows very little, etc.
