Regarding the texture: Because our Virgin Remy hair is 100% natural and minimally processed to ensure a long lifespan (1–2 years), the strands are naturally stronger and thicker than standard salon hair. This "strength" is what allows it to handle heat styling so well, but we understand that it can feel less soft straight out of the package. A quick tip: Many of our stylists recommend a gentle co-wash (washing with conditioner only) before the first use. This often "relaxes" the natural cuticle, making it much softer and easier to tease for bridal updos.
