Our pack recommendations are based on the photos provided, natural hair density, length, and the amount of volume or length someone wants to achieve. In some cases, especially when blending shorter hair into longer extensions, more hair may be needed to create a fuller and more even transition. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to install the two packs and then realize there wasn’t enough hair to blend naturally. That said, we completely understand that if you are looking for a very full or dramatic volume result, this set may feel too light compared with thicker traditional clip-ins. The product you ordered was a single-piece. As outlined in our policy, sample pieces can be returned, but the return shipping cost is covered by the customer. Regarding your concern about dryness, human hair extensions can appear dry or frizzy if exposed to excessive heat styling or if unsuitable hair products are used (such as those containing sulfates or alcohol). With proper care and hydrating treatments, the hair remains soft and smooth. Also, tape-in extensions are designed to be refitted every 4–6 weeks to maintain the best condition and comfort. On the hair quality: the ends feeling dry after a week and needing significant trimming by month three isn’t what we expect. A few things can accelerate dryness on any human-hair extension (hard-water mineral buildup, alcohol-based stylers, high/close heat, leaving clarifying solvents on the weft during move-up), but we don’t want to guess. If you’re open to it, we’ll review your batch and make this right—inspection + replacement or store credit if we confirm a defect. On the tape: Single-sided shine when hair is up — we can swap you to our matte single-sided tabs or a micro-matte strip designed for high-exposure placements around the hairline and crown. Double-sided glue creep/bleed — this often happens if a flat iron is too hot/held too long on the band, if a bit of remover/oils remain on the tab before re-taping, or if tapes are stored warm. We can send our low-residue, heat-stable tabs plus a short “de-shine + no-bleed” refit checklist (quick chelate, full dry, cool-press vs. hot-press).
