This website is a fraud.
I got the ESA letter from them, but my apartment said they are not legit. So I contacted them and they started saying they purchased the company from Amber Dynamics and they cannot release a refund to me.

Hi Daisy, We're not a fraud. Emotional Pet Support is business front, Amber Dynamics is the owner company, (like how Alphabet owns Google). You can verify the doctor we assigned you to and validate with that doctor that they work with us and that we are legitimate. We're sorry you had issues, it's very easy for an apartment complex to just say we're not legit, anyone can say anything they like. But, do communicate with the doctor we assigned you to as a means of verification, they will affirm to you that we are legitimate.

Terrible! I am diagnosed with PTSD - it's a no brainer that I qualify. They said I didn't qualify - A doctor would call - a doctor wouldn't call - it was being processed - they couldn't help people in Mass. All over the map! Sarah was so rude and unprofessional, a true scammer! They are scammers. I got my money back and I am using my original company. I thought they presented well and I would try them. Big mistake!

We aren't scammers.
This client submitted her assessments (purposely failing them twice and on her 3rd case, she answers perfectly to everything), we decided to cancel her case and refund her everything because she wasn't taking our services seriously.
This is one of those suspicious clients who do their best to be impossible to satisfy and when we decide to cancel the case and refund her everything, she decides to defame us by falsely saying that we're scammers.
We've had other clients almost exactly like this one. It's very strange that they instinctively decide to hit our BBB and our TrustPilot with a 1-star review after we refund them and they are overly outrageous about it.

Wish I could give zero stars. HORRIBLE experience
Wish I could give zero stars. A day after I got my ESA letter from them, they emailed me to tell me they were cancelling me from their service and giving me a refund for no apparent reason. When I asked them why, they falsely accused me of being a scammer. I'm just a mentally ill woman trying to get a damn ESA letter, not a freakin scammer. The customer service rep "Sarah" was incredibly rude, and her emails were very unprofessional. That set off some red flags for me, so now I can safely assume this company is a big scam trying to take advantage of vulnerable people. I still havent gotten my refund like they said. Run far away from this company, you can find a better and more legit service that provides ESA letters.
*Edit: Love how they tried to call me a "scammer" in their reply and said "we did research on this person and deemed they weren't a worthy client" LOL. What sort of research could you have done to find that I'm "not worthy?" I'm a 22 year old college student without so much as a speeding ticket. I have no criminal record, and the only info they had about me was my email address and their stupid mental health survey they made me fill out in my application. Quit lying through your teeth to vulnerable people who are trying to get REAL medical assistance.

Please allow this complaint to be publicly listed as we wish others to know that we don’t take kindly to “scammers” waisting our time. Our research on this individual shows that she is not a worthy client. This scammer was notified instantly that she was cancelled out and the full refund will take up to two days to post back depending on the credit card company. They just need to give some time for a refund to process.

What a disaster!
They couldn't get the name right on the paperwork mailed out at first. In addition, they pack their shipments in an envelope with a piece of broken off styrofoam that is rather awkward. The paperwork is folded in three parts, which looks absolutely tacky. They corrected the name issue, but the second shipment of documents was just as bad as the first in terms of the condition upon arrival. They put it inside of an inside out FedEx mailer and put extra random shaped pieces of styrofoam. I called their support number, got the voicemail, and then got an email later that day. I replied simply asking for them to make it right or refund that portion of the order because it just looks tacky having wrinkled paperwork when you are applying for housing. Rather than take care of me, they opted to refund the whole order and removed me from their system. In the BBB complaint response, they claim they are not responsible for how "USPS handles the mail, which at times, they've crumpled it badly." While normally I would just accept this and walk away, I can't but help to ask myself why this random styrofoam was used? My food handler cert came in a similar FedEx mailer, which had no styrofoam in it and was immaculate. So for this, I reject their notion of the USPS handling the mail improperly. If you do go with this company, avoid having them mail stuff to you.
*Edit post reply: If you read carefully, I'm not claiming the company does the wrinkling of the mail. I'm pointing out how the company packages the mail. I wish this site had the option for photography; the world really should see what an awful job you do with packaging up mail. You can't tell me that modifying a FedEx mailer is the best way of doing business? What about adding the Styrofoam scrap?
You want a better review, take responsibility for your inability to package a letter in a mailer instead of cutting corners and passing the blame on their customers. Shame on you!

We're just asking for a review based on our services overall, not just on the mail. We use styrofoam sometimes as a spacer. We're not sure why you're going out of your way to be extremely critical and condescending, leaving a 1-star review about this without taking anything else into regard. Our ESA documentation has worked for thousands of people and they've left their reviews in our other platform. Our doctors can verify the authenticity of the documents.
This platform is where people go to leave complaints, our other platform with over 10,000 reviews, gives everyone a chance to review us without having them go out of their way to leave a review: https://www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/emotionalpetsupport.com/

Our Georgian doctor recently resigned and we temporarily have an M.D. take her place for that state, which is allowed via telehealth: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7395209/.
The M.D. that is taking that state is still able to successfully process documents and call landlords/verify with them as well.
The customer has decided to call the letters false and do it here, knowing that this platform is where people go to leave 1-star reviews, as it's understandable that no one goes out of their way to find this platform and leave any other type of review. Our other platform that we give everyone a chance to review us on has 10,000+ reviews that say we're legitimate: https://www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/emotionalpetsupport.com/ and yes, we did issue her a full refund.
We also let her know that it takes a couple of business days for the refund to fully post back, and we're hoping she can return and update her review on that part.
We do promise full refunds.

I have been a member since Oct and will never renew with this co again. Their reply was lies. I would rather pay the $100.00 plus for my dog than ever do business with this co.
I have been a member since Oct. I fly a lot but need my dog for anxiety attacks. I should of known something was aloof when I returned the doctors permission letter I had to sign. It came back "No such person at this address". Ok finally got a letter from the doctor. I fly several airlines, SouthWest no problem with paper work. But Delta wanted the doctors signature on their letterhead. I tried emailing this support site, their reply, "never heard of me and can't find my membership info". So at Delta I told them i have the letter from your doctor and they better accept it because I was going to have an attack. They let me on. Allegiant Air was very mean to me and made me stand against a wall with the other passengers watching as they frisked me and was looking over my dogs papers. And this took place after I had gone through security. And they said this time the'll let me board the plane and if my dog gave any problems they would remove us from the plane well my YorkePoo Fred sat on my lap the entire trip (as he does with any flight). Now I am moving to a new townhouse and they want the ESA doctor to answer a few question. Well emailing does not help because no one ever got back to me. I did a search on the doctor who now resides in Ohio and cannot be reach. So I will have to pay more in rent and will not get back the $300.00 deposit on my dog. I thought this company had my back apparently they didn't when I needed them. I don't like saying anything bad about a company but they just won't help me.

While we did take care of this case many months ago, and she presumably was very satisfied with our services, we understand that this severe 1-star may have been given unfairly/too quickly because of a miscommunication.
This customer tried to use our general letter for Delta & Allegiant Airlines instead of acquiring their forms beforehand, that is why there was a more strict procedure, our thousands of our customers usually check ahead of time (48 hours) and when it is known that an airlines form is needed, they contact us for it.
Unfortunately, this customer made it very difficult to locate her record to confirm who her doctor is. This would have allowed us to be able to aid her in obtaining the appropriate documents for her airlines.
The doctor can also be reached as the letter we provide this customer has the doctor's contact information in the letterhead, we can also help people reach out to the doctors too, but sadly there was barely any communication allowed before it was decided that we should get a 1-star review.
We do ask for a patient ID number and possibly their letter, if we only get a first name and a different email, then we can't locate a record and can't assist.

Terrible!
Terrible!
Alaska airlines said that the doctor who signed my document could not be verified.
This is the last thing you want happening when you arrive to the airport. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to my destination. Great! Paid for a invalid ESA letter, a flight I didn't take, and a rental car+gas. Super frustrating.
Seems like a legit site....NOPE.
Response from Emotional Pet Support LLC.Nov 3, 2019
The client is incorrect, we have provided Alaska Airlines forms to many other clients and have had success. All of our doctors can be verified, we can even help show a copy of their license and/or have our doctors call/contact patients if needed.
You can say it's not legit, but we've successfully serviced thousands of patients and have had the doctors complete landlord verification forms, call the landlords, etc.
We also don't use this reviewing platform, that's why hardly anyone comes here to leave anything but a complaint, to get a real overall assessment about how we do, please check out our over 10,000 reviews here: https://www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/emotionalpetsupport.com/
