This was a great course to learn and network! I took the NBA player development course with Dave Severns and it was about a 6 week course 12 classes. I was able to learn about scouting, breaking down film, creating an off season plan for an athlete and also learned from multiple guest speakers about the Ins and Outs of working with professionals. Lastly, my fellow classmates were also very supportive and helpful and provided insight which allowed us to network with each other!

Wow! What an incredible experience it was to be a part of the UX/UI in gaming course with Ivy Sang! The course was very detailed, going into the most important aspects of this career path and discipline. The wealth of options to choose from when it came to its capstone project allows each student to customize and take control of their learning. I was able to challenge myself in a way that helped me grow as a designer and walk away with a portfolio piece that I’m proud of. Ivy Sang is an incredible instructor, giving so much of her time to help each student. She is a natural at teaching UX and UI concepts in a way that is easy to understand and apply to our work. Also a shoutout to Lynn Thompson who helped support me throughout the course, periodically checking in to answer any questions I had. Overall, it was a huge benefit to myself as a designer. 10/10

The school's staff, in tending to student concerns, are very kind and considerate. They are eager to help with any problems we may have with the program/school and are on top of reminding students of any upcoming work that is due. The instructor is very informative, passionate, and also eager to reassure her students that it's possible to enter into the field of UI/UX no matter the number of experience one has.

my goal was to learn about the ux game industry practices, culture, and gain skills related to the needs/expectations of a ux designer. bonus that i developed a portfolio, talk to industry leaders, and gain business insights like how to navigate a difficult situation or team. all of these expectations were met, and i feel a solid foundational framework to use as i navigate and moving forward pursuing the industry! lynn, the program manager, has been wonderful at supporting us students on discord and via text! quick to respond and attentive, especially to a class of 50-something. my reschedule meeting with ivy, our instructor, went smoothly! Ivy was knowledgeable, professional, and engaging! the course is great for beginners to intermediate folks looking to have dedicated time refining their portfolio

I took the Advanced UI/UX for Games with Ivy Sang and it was such a great experience. I had several personal accommodations as they understood that each individual has a different schedule. The instructor was extremely clear and offered many hours of extra, outside-of-class tutoring. There were also instructors and faculties that assist you with every matter outside of the course (tuition, mock interviews, project help) so the overall course has been great.

I decided to enroll in ELVTR's Advanced UX/UI Design for Gaming course because I've always been interested in that aspect of game creation, and it's very hard to find courses dedicated to it specifically. I found the experience very rewarding, and learned a lot from our instructor, Ivy. I could tell she was passionate and knowledgeable about the material, and never failed to take extra time and consideration to answer our questions and fulfill our needs. The other aspect that MADE this class for me was my class community. My class had a good number of students who were engaged, diverse in experience, and talented. Discussions and feedback sessions with them were super valuable to my learning experience. Good ELVTR/Class aspects: Offers no-interest installment plans (and other plans), course structure is good, grading time is good Aspects ELVTR can work on: More in-depth feedback for grades/projects (or maybe a "feedback session" class or appointment students could schedule at least once or twice throughout the course). Also, I spent almost 20-25 hours (sometimes more) on top of classes on projects, which was very difficult for me. But it was difficult because I wasn't expecting it. I don't think a single classmate of mine didn't ask for an extension for at least one of their projects. **This is a super specific complaint I had, but I was NOT a fan of the salesperson that got me set up. I believe his name was Brody. He often sent me wrong class information, wrong payment info, rarely got back to me in a timely manner--it was super frustrating working with him. But once I got in the class, everyone I worked with was a gem! Overall, great experience, and I would recommend Ivy's class to anyone!

I had a fantastic experience with Elvtr's Sports Marketing & Sponsorships course. The instructors were not only reputable but also incredibly engaging, enriching the lessons with real-world examples, anecdotes, and relevant guest speakers. The course content was well-structured and easy to follow, with assignments that were both enjoyable and practical. Additionally, the support staff was attentive and responsive throughout the course. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in the marketing side of the sports industry.

Elvtr has a very structured program that allows you to navigate easily through the course, I specially love the way The Advertising course was structured and taught, Yi Ma and Ryan are amazing and they will show you the content, teach you how a advertising campaign is done from the start to the end in a way that is easy to understand, is challenging but will make your mind explode and be creative. I love it. Thank you so much!!
