This is course is bad in many ways. This is not a scam but I feel scammed. Let me elaborate...
This course was created for "every level", thus it is for nobody in practicular. Newcomers will be overwhelmed by all the information but for someone with a knowledge on a topic, will have a very shallow experience.
Assigments are confusing... You'll have a hangouts with the most general outlines or small hints and you need to do the task. Instructor never show how to do this task in lecture, the lecture is always just a general overview of the topic. You need to rely on google, AI, YouTube, etc. to feel all the gaps.
No nuansces, no workflow insights.
This is not a course to teach and learn, this is a course to give you an overview of the role, and for the price given - it feels like I've been scammed.
General rule that I made on this course - never trust courses that should be advanced but promoted as for every level.

Would not recommend
Was promised a 10% discount and have never received it. Was promised prompt response to messages, have not received that. There are probably over or close to 100 people enrolled in the course so any idea of getting “personal” attention or instructions is fantasy. It takes days to get responses. The feedback on assignments are very generic, encouraging but… don’t really seem specific to an individual’s work or specific enough to be instructive or constructive. The classes don’t seem to be regulated. While the class is live there are students sending group messages which have absolutely nothing to do with the class itself or even the course. This is highly distracting. We were promised 30min 1:1 with the instructor. They posted a calendar where there were no appointments available. Not that all appointments were filled, THERE WERE NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE, and those unavailable appointments were only 15 minutes. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend any courses from this company

Brady, we’re sorry to hear this — the experience you described is not what we aim for. Thank you for bringing this up. We’ll investigate the discount and follow up on the issues you raised. Thanks again, and good luck with your projects!

Won't be for everyone
Let me preface this review by saying that I enrolled and then withdrew from the program I enrolled in. The refund process was painless.
However, I think the lack of public-facing information about this company and its services needs to be made available ahead of potential students enrolling. While some might find the structure of the program(s) to be beneficial, I did not. Tuition is kept private and there are no positive testimonies outside of Trustpilot (the fact that I couldn't find anything of substance on Reddit is shocking).
For starters, the programs are not cheap. I signed up for their Game Producer program and even with a 20% discount (which I assume they offer to everyone), it's still almost $3,000 USD for a six-week program consisting of two 90-minute classes each week. Classes are broken down into a 75-minute lecture, followed by a 15-minute QA. Instructors do offer 30 minutes pre-class for "office hours".
As someone who has never taken live, online classes before, this was not a great experience. You have 50+ students on a Zoom call, trying to listen to the instructor give his lesson. Although there is an allocated 15-minute Question period at the end, he was regularly taking questions in the middle of the lecture, both from people asking on video or through the chat. It ruined the flow and often led him to have to rush through a particular section because we were pressed for time. Questions were not short, often leading to 5-10 minute detours in the lecture. For those asking the questions, I guess it's a benefit, but for the rest of us, these could have been asked during office hours or at the end of the lecture.
For the class size, I really doubt that unless you're one of the more "active" participants, you're going to get much from the course. If you can't attend the live lecture, then there is absolutely no benefit from learning through the recordings. Class lengths are too long for this kind of format. Rather than doing 12, 90-minute classes for a total of 1,080 minutes, they probably should reduce the length of each class to a maximum of 60 minutes (50 for the lecture, then 10 minutes to answer questions). You can keep it at six weeks, and just do classes three times a week instead of two. If the lectures were shorter, you'd probably retain more information and people would be less likely to interrupt until the end.
Lastly, be wary of their programs when they can't offer any proper "success stories". Most of the programs they offer are for ultra-competitive fields. Over the last few weeks, I went through LinkedIn to find past students who showcase their certificates on their profiles and I couldn't find any that had major success post-program. Again, for the price, I suspect a lot of students go in expecting that this will lead to an improvement in their career. I don't see that happening for 80-90% of those enrolled (myself included).

Dear Marko,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences about our Game Producer program at ELVTR. As the CEO, I value feedback from our students and would like to address the concerns you've raised.
I'm glad to hear that you found our refund process painless. Regarding the lack of public-facing information, we are already working on providing more details about our programs, tuition fees, and success stories on our website.
It's important to note that we do have many cases of students' success following the completion of our courses on record. Not all of the students choose to make them public, but we are proud of the great reviews about our courses that can be found online.
In terms of class format and structure, we are constantly seeking ways to improve and optimize the learning experience. We appreciate your suggestions regarding class lengths and handling of questions during lectures, and will certainly consider them as we refine our offerings.
While I understand your concerns, giving us a 2 out of 5 review doesn't seem entirely justified, especially given the fact that you have only attended two lessons and withdrew from the program. We encourage you to reconsider your rating based on the overall experience and the efforts we are making to address your feedback.
On the subject of success stories, we are dedicated to helping our students succeed and are actively working to showcase the achievements of our alumni in order to demonstrate the impact of our programs.
Again, thank you for your feedback. It helps us learn, grow, and enhance the educational experience we offer. If you have any further concerns or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
Best regards,
Roman Peskin
