I ordered a Faux Fur Short Jacket from Elleseandco in mid April. The garment did not arrive until the end of May and, in the interim, I received no communication from the company apart from one answer to my query early on.
When the garment arrived I was extremely disappointed to see how think and cheap the quality was. It is extremely poorly made.
I am in the process of trying to get a refund but they continually send me the same email telling me that I have to pay shipping and still they do not send me the return address.
I am gutted as it cost me over $80!! I certainly do not recommend them. The quality of their goods is beyond poor and the service is non existent. Very disappointing!!

Purchased 4 suits of the same size, received 3 with all different sizing, returns at my expense REFUND never sent
WARNING SCAM CHEAP AND CHINESE CLOTHING WITH NO REFUND,2 MONTHS AND COUNTING SO, I CAN FOR AUSTRALIAN PURCHASERS: COMPANY CONTAVENES CONSUMER LAWS BUT ACCC FAILS TO ADDRESS INDIVIDUAL'S Cases! THE INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CONSUMER PROTECTOR, NEVER RESPONDED.
Purchased 4 suits of the same design and size but, different colours. One colour was unavailable so, I had to request a refund. Ellese wanted me to find an alternative item but, I was disinterested. Sofia from Ellese requested bank details, instead of returning funds back via the card, which I emailed. Two weeks later followed up and told that I never sent information. I sent one email with a pdf of all emails send and received, highlighting the one that Sofia had acknowledged receipt of the email and stating payment would be made. Refund supposedly sent 5 May and after several emails, advised 26 May 2026 that the issue was with my bank. I rang bank and no money was ever sent. Hence, my bank emailed a 'dispute credit card charge' which I completed and emailed back with all the emails, order invoice, receipt for the cost of postage ($62.45) to CHINA NOT Amsterdam. I had to return all the clothing received, read below.
The other 3 suits arrived and only one jacket and one pant of differing colours fit. One coloured suit was too small, the pant of one suit was too small but the jacket fit. The final suit pant fit but the jacket was too big. I sent an email with pictures requesting a solution.
The response received was for me to pay €15 for each suit to supposedly receive the correct size. Or, to pay €20 for other items of commensurate price.
I asked for a refund and received the response below.
We understand you’d like to return your order. Your items are required to be shipped back at the customer’s own cost to our international warehouse in Asia. This means you would be responsible for covering the return shipping fees.
As an alternative, we’d like to offer you a 60% gift card of your order value, which you can apply toward a future purchase. This option is often preferred by customers, as it avoids the high costs and time involved in sending the parcel back internationally.
Poor quality control saw 3 different sized suits all with the same size tag shipped and the customer is expected to pay for their mistake. Or accept a 60% gift card for items that will probably be afflicted by the same issue.
An unreasonable outcome. The company is supposedly in Amsterdam but, the items have to be shipped to Asia, where it is obvious from the quality that they are actually from.
24 hours latter an offer of a 15% Refund + Keeping the Item: We can process a 15% refund for your order, allowing you to retain the item.
Or, Return your order at your own costs for a full refund to China.
24 hours after that email, the following email was received that contravenes Australian Consumer Law.
Thank you for your message and for reaching out to us. We understand that our current stance on your return request may be disappointing, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience or frustration this may cause.
However, we must formally confirm that the handling of this matter is governed by the Return Policy that was explicitly accepted by you at the time of purchase during the checkout process.
Our policies are designed to ensure fairness and consistency for all our valued customers. By finalizing your order, you acknowledged and agreed to the specific terms and conditions outlined in that policy, which dictate the eligibility, timeframes, and procedure for all returns and exchanges.
We are, unfortunately, bound by the terms of this agreed-upon contract and must adhere to the policies established for all transactions. We encourage you to review the specific details of the policy you accepted, which should provide a clear outline of why your current request falls outside the permitted scope.
Naturally, I sent protesting emails to no avail and sent the suits to China, costing $62.45 May 15 2026. Spent $510.45 in total and will only get my money back if my bank successfully disputes the charge.
I made a complaint to consumer affairs but as Ellese & Co is an international company, I have to lodge a complaint with the Competition and Consumer Protection Agencies Worldwide. Simply, as the Australian consumer affairs 'ACCC' fails to address individual complaints.

I ordered and received a “raincoat”
I ordered and received a “raincoat”. The coat was an XXS not a L as I ordered. Also it is not even waterproof. I poured a small amount of water on it which went straight through. They have refused to give me my money back and have only offered a 60% credit. There is no way I would ever trust this company again it is worse than Temu with sizing and description.

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY.
THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY.
paid $600 for a cooler and after waiting weeks they sent me a dud $20 Kmart cooler. Then they give me the longest shipping address and make me pay for the return. Now I'm out of pocket $600 plus $100 for shipping and they wont even help by contacting China customs after 2 months. Don't buy from here.....they say they are an Amsterdam company but make me return the item to China. So dissapointed!!!
