We wish we had done it sooner!
We live in FL and the beneficiary lives in PA. We had been estranged from each other for many years when a distant relative contacted us about the beneficiary needing help. Initially, we thought we could proceed on our own, but soon learned that the facility and PA Medicaid were not entirely forthcoming. After several red flags from them, we knew it was time for professional help. Liz Gomez and her team from Eldercare Resource Planning had the expertise and professionalism that were exactly what was needed to ensure the beneficiary got what was needed for his care. Before we enlisted the help of ECR, we lost sleep, experienced anxiety especially when calling or sending emails to the facility or PA Medicaid that went unanswered or deleted without being read. On the other hand, after we got the help of ECR, Liz was very persuasive and got the resolution we needed. Wish we had done it sooner. ECR were all very detailed and straightforward in their description of their services, next steps and timeframe to completion. We knew we made the right decision when we were copied on emails Liz sent to the facility and the response from the previously slow Business Manager at the facility was quick. Relief and Gratitude!
