Eco Shield Pest ControlReviews of ecoshieldpest.com

Showed up at 7:15pm Friday to solicit sales. We have a no solicitation sign and the agent claimed he had a solicitation license (which does apply if you have a no solicitation sign). Was arrogant and refused to provide identification as required by law. I wouldn’t work with a company like this if this is the approach they use for sales.

I strongly recommend, at least in the Grand Rapids area. I usually don't give door knockers the time of day, but a young man caught me in the yard. He was super nice, super professional, and we had a black ant problem. We were leaving, so I signed up and they sprayed the exterior the same evening. When the ant problem inside continued, I sent a late night email. I got a call back the next morning. They were super nice in sending a man out (Tim Sams). He spent a lot of time in my house, and found the source, a colony under the slider door jam. He sprayed, and got them. He also was thorough in explaining how they build their colonies in rotted wood and suggested I replace the wood under the door. He also sprayed for carpenter bees that had been in the eves above my porch. Every person I have dealt with so far with Ecoshield has been super nice and professional. Maybe other people have had problems, but our experience has been 5 out of 5.

MORE OF THE SAME!!! READ OTHER REVIEWS. I had an important phone call disrupted by a young kid in Eco-Shield uniform banging on my door, practically DEMANDING that I let him inspect my property for a supposed "bug infestation". Mentioned neighbor "David"...I don't know any David around here!! I told him we had Terminix and were happy and he REFUSED to take no for an answer. Finally, I just closed the door and he went away.

Vernon Walker (Vee) performed my first service, and we want him back! He was a very professional, friendly, polite, and skilled technician. He removed all the nests and cobb webs from the home's exterior and strategically placed rodent control boxes. He sprayed and inspected the exterior of the home. He explained the next steps and what will be done during my next quarterly service. Thus far, I am very satisfied with this company's service compared to my previous pest control companies. We have received my pest control intervention for a great price compared to other companies that actually performed fewer interventions. Yard flea and tick coverage is also included which with other companies was always an additional price on top of the expensive quarterly service rate. Getting a six-year price lock in today's economy is excellent. Especially when other companies raise their rates annually by 10% and perform less service. I have read reviews on this company and do not agree with the negative experiences posted since my experience has been stellar. Days before my service the salesman was polite, professional, and respectful and explained all services in detail. My first service was exactly as he described. I look forward to a long relationship with this company. The itemized report at the end of the service has an easy-to-read format and is very detailed and explains precisely the products used to treat my home. This makes me feel very confident that safe bioproducts are used.

EcoShield, On May 18th at 8:15 PM, you had what appeared to be a young high school student run around our gated and NO SOLICITING neighborhood, ringing door bells and trying to sell your services was VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL. To you Keagon, maybe target neighborhoods that are open to the community and are not restricted to solicitation and your companies blanket marketing tactics. Wyndham Home Owner

Chivez Lovett serviced my house Yesterday May 17th. He was so awesome in everything. He was so kind and professional and did a great job!!!!

This company is a fraud. the sales replies about what is including and charge you for services that were never rendered. Please do your research and don't listen to the sales guys because everything coming out there mouths are lies. I called customer service about the issue and they tried to bully me back into another contract before coming out to do a free interior service that was charged to my account. They told me i could not receive my free interior spray until I reinstated my CONTRACT!!! Horrible company and Horrible customer service.

The most disrespectful company ever. This is the third issue we've had with their sales reps. We have three no soliciting signs along the path to our door. We work from home. My husband was in a meeting and saw them in the neighborhood. Because of the issues in the past, he ADDED a forth hand written sign on the door that said "in a meeting; no soliciting." The rep ignored it and knocked, causing the dogs to bark. My husband opened the door and pointed to the sign. The rep lied and said "I'm working with your neighbors." My husband ended the call with a client, thinking there was a property issue. The rep than starts a sales pitch. My husband says 'seriously, we have multiple no soliciting signs." The rep responds "those don't do anything." Later I saw him walk up to a mailbox flower bed and kick the flowers off the stems. He knew there was no way he was getting a sale. I would guess corporate instructs them to contact owners and IGNORE no soliciting signs. Do you want a company that is this disrespectful working for you? There is also almost NO way to call the local company - good luck if you have any issues. All numbers are corporate (unhelpful) or overseas call centers.
