Eco Shield Pest ControlReviews of ecoshieldpest.com

I regret signing a contract with Ecoshield. They come out and spray and 1-2 weeks later, I see the bugs running around in my house they are supposedly treating for. It never fails. They have admitted to me that other customers have the same problem. Don't hire them.

Worst customer service experience ever! Richard in customer service was actually raising his voice and cutting me off in our conversation with no apology or explanation just that he was right and we are wrong. Let me explain… We signed up from a door to door salesman (huh? Who does that?) we did and first impression is that we’re a bunch of nice guys working, making a living, friendly, that’s good and all but it all changed when we decided to cancel the service, it didn’t so much to cut down on flies and mosquitoes ( which was extra btw) nor the ants plus we have chickens and dogs. We talked to Armando and he explained the situation of “the contract” and how we still had services on our contract that we were obliged to pay for the remainder of the term. Well we couldn’t do that but he convinced us to stay for another 2 sessions. Well we weren’t aware of a contract and as things go, we couldn’t afford to pay $160 every 2 months for services that weren’t doing much for us. Armando talked to a supervisor and said they made a mistake and were overpaying for the service we had. Needless to say our “contract” was up in June so we called today and spoke with Richard & he said no we are on a 2 yr contract and that the other guy (Armando) probably didn’t know that. WTH!?!! We told him what was going on and he interrupted us and insisted he was right and we were wrong 😑 raising his voice while I was speaking to him that I cut him off to ask for a supervisor and of course he responded with none available. He continued to be rude so we loudly told him that we would call back tomorrow morning and speak with a manager. Click. Bye Felicia 👋

We signed up for the services, were never told it's long contract. Also they kept charging every 2 weeks, for outdoor and indoor services. We have never seen anyone come inside house and do paste control ! We tried to cancel services, there is no option to cancel online. We called and were given long run around. We got frustrated and called credit card company. Eventually ecoshield started reporting us to credit beauro for not paying. But they were charging for the services they never provided. NEVER SIGN UP. They come to your door with big promises and don't leave until you sign up !

I was approached by a ecoshield salesmen by my door. He was very aggressive. After multiple times of me telling him no thank you. He told me that I can get a one time spray for 159$ and I could cancel if not satisfied. I signed the authorization form for the one time charge. I realized that the service was not worth the cost and emailed the company to cancel on that same day. They called me and told me since I waived the three day waiting period, I am locked in to a one year contract. I told her that I did not sign or was told of any waiver and if mu initials or signature is present on any document, it is forged and fraudulent. They continue to call and harass me that they will not cancel the contract. This company is a fraud and should be shut down. They use illegal tactics and engage in criminal behavior. I thankfully have video cameras on my residence and have the complete interaction recorded which shows that the salesman was filling the form after he left which now is clear he was putting my initials on the fake contract and signing my name.

This company uses unethical business practices to get business. They lied to me about my neighbor recommending them to me and lied about waiving the initial service fee. I got zero help from the company when I complained and they charged me additional fees to cancel. BEWARE!! DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES! READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING!

2 years of service just to try to limit fleas our dogs would pick up while they went out to the restroom. Absolutely zero improvement. Try to cancel...good luck. They skip for all kinds of reasons in a bimonthly treatment plan but still charge. Don't get yourself involved with these folks.

I would give them zero stars if it were possible! I only signed up for the service because they told me they could get rid of stink bugs…they can’t and didn’t. Multiple times I had them come back between services but I still had stink bugs. Their customer service doesn’t care what your complaint is they only want the money! Twice during my contract I complained that I did not get the service in full and I know that because I have outdoor cameras. They sent someone else out to repeat the service but it didn’t matter because it didn’t work. Finally completed my contract with them and am happy to get them out of my life!

Sounds like most of the issues here are folk that don't like salespersons showing up at their homes. I hired this company and have had no issues with this company. I just renewed my contract which included 800 bucks for Termites. Great Company
