$240 to cancel a terrible service. What a ripoff

The absolute worst service ever! Do not sign up with them. They came out the first time and didn't spray so I had to call as all they did was out out some granules that took less than 5 minutes. They said if you still see ants give us a call. I tried to just cancel after the first issue but the salesman Charlie is the only reason I did not because he promised me since I was still seeing ants they would come back out. They scheduled for the net week and never showed up! No call or anything so I called this morning to cancel my service. Juan told me my appointment was canceled but he didn't know why, but yet no one told me this. I am upset that I have to pay a 245 dollar fee to cancel when it was because of their poor service not just because I wanted to cancel. Beware all!

The service itself is fine, although expensive. However, customer service is truly abysmal. I had the service in Nashville. I was moving so I wanted to cancel. They representative said they could service my new address. So I kept the service going for another quarter and when I moved, I called to keep the service going. The representative said they didn't service my area. Then a sales rep came by the neighborhood and I signed up. 2 yr contract. I wanted to go with a local company and they said I would need to email their customer service email after the last service. I did so and never received a reply. Today, I get a message telling me of upcoming service. I immediately call, say what happened, and got the excuse of "we get a lot of emails." I proceeded to cancel, not without their attempt to keep me on board with a lowered price. The agents were usually nice enough, but they were all obviously offshore folks who are really good at their pushy scripts.

I had an extremely uncomfortable experience with an EcoShield representative who came to my home today\. The representative was overly aggressive and continued trying to sell me pest\-control services after I clearly told him I was not interested\. I asked him to leave my property, but he continued the conversation and would not leave when I asked him to\. I ultimately had to be very firm before he finally left\. I understand that door\-to\-door salespeople are trying to make a sale, but there is a very important difference between being persistent and refusing to respect a homeowner’s clear request to leave\. I found this interaction intimidating and completely unacceptable\. I would not want this representative coming back to my home, and based on this experience, I would not recommend EcoShield

Can I do a half a Star? The initial service for spraying did not brush off all the spider egg sacs and spider colonies at the end of July. I have brushed off spiders twice in August. In less than a week after the initial spraying I got 2 big spider bite welts. At 3 weeks I got bit again twice and needed to go to the emergency clinic for brown recluse bites, one on each thigh. After those bites I called to have them come back and spray again which the salesman said they would do. After 5 days I called again and they cannot come again till September 14th. I have tried to add pictures and they are not adding.

This is a scam. Do not use them.

Terrible customer service. High pressure door to door sales tactics. I cancelled my service with this company a year ago and was overall unhappy with the service and technicians. I had a technician at my house (we have cameras at the home) and watched as he sat in his truck for almost an hour before quickly walking around the yard in 5 minutes and sprinkling granules of what I assume is pest control material around the yard. Not by the side of the house or anywhere in particular, just randomly around as he walked 1 time around the house. I shared this with the company and they basically blew me off. They have knocked on my door twice since then trying to get me to use their service and each time I told them soliciting is not allowed in our private gated community, AND I ALREADY FIRED YOU. The salesperson at my door both time proceeded to argue with me about why I cancelled and that is was even ever a customer. I showed them the customer service emails and "oh, maybe our records are not updated" That was over a year ago I cancelled and switched services. Do not use this company. They are also in the middle of a class action lawsuit for deceptive business practices.
