I recently had a house inspection by Mahmoud in North Jersey. He was very polite and thorough in looking for any evidence of pests and rodents. There was no fear inducing or attempts to hard upsell me any services. Just honest advice. Would recommend.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY! This company is based in the Philippines. Very expensive and have long term contracts with Penalties for cancelling the contracts. The technicians are always different. Today, I asked the tech what he was powdering in my exterior ceiling areas as I dont want to hurt treefrogs that live there - he had no idea. They have no idea what pesticides they are using,. When i went inside, he powdered the area anyway…..I called to complain and after a lengthy hold, I was told I was talking to the Houston office but the mgr was busy and would call me in 48 hours. Truly —— I think I was still talking to the Philippines. You have been warned.

We had the service for 3 months, and our biggest reason for signing on was to help with the spiders and webs around our home in Minnesota. After the initial application, while the spiders did reduce they were back with a vengence within weeks. We contacted the company and they sent someone out to respray, but again no relief from the pests. We decided the monthly fee wasn't work it, and after paying for three months we canceled after only two applications. Unfortunately, there was a very large cancelation fee to end our contract which was not outlined up front. We were not happy with the service and this was a very expensive lesson for us!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They’re a piece of CRAP company the guy BEGGED me on my porch for them to come spray around my house and yard for 75$ a month. They billed me 75$ one month but the guy knocked on my door I wasn’t home so he sat in his truck for 15 minute not knowing I have cameras everywhere. I told them I’ll pay the 75 but I don’t want them on my property anymore. Then they tried to bill me 160. Now I have a debt collector calling for 250$! They suck after begging for business you would think for better service!!!!

If I could give NO STARS I would. They came out to my house 9/10/26 because I had a swarm yellow jackets in my soffit. First off when I called to book the service I was told someone would schedule me within 24-48 hours and call me. So no phone call came they just showed up unannounced and luckily I was still home. The guy sprayed and assure me within 24 hours they would be dead. I questioned him and he said if you still have a problem just call and we will come out and retreat. 9/11 I called first thing to let them know I have an increased number of bees now and I need them to come back and retreat. I called 8 times on 9/11 and was assured the manager will call me he is aware of the problem. Today is 9/12 and still no call but they were definitely very quick to charge my credit card. Company does NOT back their service!!! Just wanted to update - today is 9/14 STILL NO RESPONSE FROM ECOSHIELD. Absolutely disgusted with this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Cheaters and scammers. That is exactly how I would describe EcoShield based on my experience. I paid $1,502 for pest control that delivered no meaningful results. Then, AFTER my contract was completed and EcoShield confirmed that IN WRITING by text, they charged me a $250 early termination fee. They repeatedly sent messages threatening to send that charge to collections. I replied multiple times stating that I owed nothing and pointing to THEIR OWN written confirmation. My responses were ignored. The threats continued. I finally had to call customer service to get someone to listen. Suddenly, the representative could identify the problem, apologize, and call it a “mistake.” That explanation is nowhere near good enough. You had the information. You had my repeated messages. You had your own written confirmation. Yet you continued pressuring me to pay money I did not owe. Why did it take a phone call to acknowledge what I had already explained multiple times? Customers should not have to fight collection threats because a company cannot be bothered to address a disputed charge properly. I found this treatment harassing, intimidating, and disgraceful. As for the service, I paid $150 upfront plus eight payments of $169 and saw no meaningful improvement. I felt tricked into the contract, disappointed by the service, and then pressured over an invalid fee after completing my obligation. An apology does not erase any of that. EcoShield has completely lost my trust. I would never give this company another dollar. Save your money and the aggravation. Take your business elsewhere.

⭐ **1 Star or less— One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had** I had EcoShield Pest Solutions for a little over one month, and unfortunately, almost every part of the experience was disappointing. The technician who performed my initial service was friendly, but he very obviously missed large portions of my house. I emailed the company with photos showing the areas that had been missed. Later that same day, another EcoShield technician happened to be servicing my neighbor’s house. I showed him the discrepancy, and to his credit, he was kind enough to come over and go around my house again. He spent considerably more time than the first technician, but even then, areas were still missed — including an entire inset back doorway/porch area that had visible spiders and webs, particularly noticeable as the spiders were beginning to come out for fall. I eventually heard back from the company two days after my original email. On top of the poor quality of the service, I later discovered that EcoShield would not address a particular type of pest I specifically wanted included in my service, nor did they provide the lawn pest control I was looking for. Given my dissatisfaction with the service and the fact that I was within my contractual rights to cancel, I emailed to cancel. That’s when the real customer service nightmare began. EcoShield is now attempting to charge me **more than $300 to cancel**, despite the documented issues with my service. I have called three separate times trying to resolve this. Each time, I have been given the runaround and told that someone would call me back. On the one occasion when someone actually did call me back while I was available, I explained that I had a meeting starting in two minutes. We agreed that they would call me the following day at a specific time in Pacific Time. They never called at that time. Instead, they called again when I was unavailable 4 hours later. I called back yet again and was once again unable to get through to the appropriate department or have the issue resolved. I have also sent an email explaining in detail why I cancelled the service and why I believe the cancellation fee should not apply. **I have received no response.** And to make matters worse, the pests started coming back essentially immediately after the initial treatment — in some cases, the very next day. The technicians themselves were nice and I genuinely feel bad that they are the ones having to deal with the consequences of what appears to be a much larger service and customer-support problem. But ultimately, I hired EcoShield to solve a pest problem, and the pests returned almost immediately, areas of my home were repeatedly missed, and now I’m spending my own time trying to get a cancellation issue resolved that should never have become this difficult. Customer service has been absolutely horrendous. Many of my calls were routed through outsourced customer service, and there were communication difficulties that made an already frustrating situation even more difficult to resolve. **Bottom line: poor service, pests returning almost immediately, areas repeatedly missed, terrible communication, and a cancellation process that has been unnecessarily difficult.** I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a contract with EcoShield. **Based on my experience, this is not a service I would recommend. Stay away.**
