Eco Shield Pest ControlReviews of ecoshieldpest.com

Sold all sorts of promises on their treatments but when treatment actually occurred, the technician was here not even 5 minutes and did not spray beyond perimeter of the house which did absolutely nothing. They did not respond to my attempts to call for a "touch-up" until I called them to cancel their subscription service that they require, at which case they sent another technician to do the exact same thing with equivalent results. They made it impossible to cancel requiring calling and escalating through 3 different agents trying to sell me more and offering discounts to prevent me from cancelling. I have met with pyramid schemes with more morality than this company.

On August 9th, waited all day for the Eco Shield Pest Control person to inspect the work, we had an appointment but no one showed nor did they call to update us. Look for a better option and better company.

This company seems to come to the house and do the job but there are issues. A salesperson comes to the door with a pitch saying that the prices don't apply because of the special deal. I stupidly signed an agreement on his phone. He stated that I could read through the contract but it would take quite awhile. Again, I stupidly signed up for a quarterly treatment. The first treatment was done and another was scheduled without my approval 30 days later. After that, the quarterly treatments begin. The buyout if you cancel is supposedly $400. I suspect it is much more. This is a scam. Don't fall for it.

I should have known better than to sign on with a company that does door-to-door sales. I liked the idea of pest control using natural ingredients. Signed a one year contract. Service and pest control was okay at best. Called to cancel contract once fulfilled. Obviously, their customer service is in an Asian country. Called and canceled service after contract date. Received emails and texts asking me to renew, to which I answered “No”. Then received a text and automated phone message stating that my regular service would take place the following day. One hour to get to a customer service representative who put me on hold for another 30 minutes. The next representative kept trying to sell me more service while saying she wasn’t. Finally after almost two hours my service was canceled. Horrible company-it’s like being in a time share!

They should work together

Don't sign up for this! I made the mistake of committing for two years and got slapped with a $200 fee for early cancellation. But that's not the worst part—their products are a total failure. They sprayed for ants in my house, and the ants kept coming. They set a rat trap in my yard, and the rats ignored it. They treated my front porch for cobwebs, and I ended up with even more! Completely useless. Save your money and buy something from Home Depot that actually works. This is a total scam!

Horrible company. Scheduling is nothing like they promised. I can not get a hold of anyone at the local office to schedule. They tell you when they are scheduling your monthly service, at their convenience, and often send text the night before for the next morning even though they are supposed to schedule WITH you for when you can be home for inside or backyard service. They have no care or concern for customers or scheduling. In addition, last two services have been not adequate as there are issues and pests not eliminated. They said they switched to "summer products" yet these are inferior now. I have been trying to reach someone at the local office for a week now to no avail, to reschedule when owner can be there. I have left messages for a return call when it went to a vm after 20 rings. Call center could not reach anyone the other day as well. So frustrating. Disappointing company. I see all the horrible reviews now and will have to seek another company in my area soon.

Salesperson came to my home in Atlanta in an inappropriate manner. Fiddled with my door handle, tormented my dog through the door aggravating him to the point that his barking set the glass break sensor off and police came to my home. The salesperson is seen on camera tapping on front door the glass to tease the dog, jiggling door handle and behaving is a very erratic manner. Not OK.
