I previously had an issue with Easyship regarding refunds for unused UPS labels from a multi-box shipment. After posting my review, their team reached out to me directly and worked with me to resolve the issue. I appreciate that they took the time to address my concerns and provide a solution.

Do not pay for insurance. Easyship insurance is fraud. My business paid thousands in insurance after 2 years had a damage claim. Claim denied, improper packaging. Product was in original manufacturer packaging. If you ship with easyship, self insure. They will take your insurance money but will not pay a claim. Edit: I am updating my review, easy shipped reached out and is covering my claim. However, they did say this is a courtesy due to our long history of shipments, and that the packaging was not adequate. If you ship high value liquids make sure to pack it by taping caps and padding box if it isn't tight. Take pictures of your packaging before shipping. I will continue to ship dry products with easy ship, will only ship liquid if the margin is enough to justify the risk.

I've been using Easyship for about 6 months now and it has been a fantastic experience. It's made fulfilling orders incredibly easy and saved me a considerable amount of time. The shipping costs and prices and very clear and I have had no billing issues. The customer service is also quick and helpful. *Update* About 18 months later I'm still primarily using Easyship. I have had a few issues during that time, primarily with two cancelled labels that I was wrongly billed for. It took over 6 months to resolve the first, and 2 months for the other. This was an issue with UPS updating the cancelled labels but it took Easyship a while to resolve it and issue a credit. There isn't any way to digitally upload a customs document like a USMCA form, which makes shipping internationally a little more annoying. Recently, they have started tacking on a $13 US Entry Fee even though I have duties as post paid due to the fact that nearly everything I sell is USMCA certified. This has caused me to be unable to ship with them until it is resolved. They are fairly prompt with replying and customer service has resolved nearly every issue I have had so I will continue to use them.

Update 3/14/25: Tom, the CEO, took time to resolve this issue. It was due to a mis-understanding and he has made this right for us. We appreciate him taking the time to do so. --- We have shipped with another company with ease for 12 years and decided to give them a try. Not a great experience to say the least. They decided after I upgraded to their paid plan (and paid $29) -- that my business ships hazardous materials that didn't comply with their policy. The hazardous material in question: Handmade Dog Soap. Their customer service doesn't seem to understand what dog soap is as they asked me to provide info on the batteries that are shipped with it (??). We requested a refund of the subscription fee and are hoping they follow through with that. Very unprofessional and we will be going back to the other company!

It just doesn't really work beyond booking a service... The other parts of the service as so far damaging the reputation of my business, sending out tracking emails without my permission to websites that don't even work... Very poor. For example, they have the wrong link for tracking with EVRI. They're still using Hermes. Hermes changed to EVRI years ago... Very poor. So far, I do not recommend - It's just making my business look stupid, when customers click on tracking links that don't work that were auto generated by EasyShip without my permission. Order Update 08/08: It works well for UPS... I will continue to use you for UPS! Update 6/9: Now that I've seen the competition, I think EasyShip is definitely one of the better services. It's easy to use in most cases, I think it can do with some work to make it more intuitive but for the most part it does help to streamline work. I've tried about 4 other similar platforms since I started using Easyship and the only real competitor is goshippo. Will continue to use Easyship & can recommend...

I very much like your service, and the speed and level of customer support received for issues I had with my BackerKit integration. In particular, the shipping rules system is extremely convenient once I got it configured to my satisfaction. However, there is one wrinkle with the Easyship platform that has caused me an endless amount of tedium. Every time I open a shipment to make standard adjustments (like the type of packaging), the zip code for US addresses imported from BackerKit displays as an error because it is hyphenated (i.e. 12345-6789). I know that the second half of US zip codes is optional, but practically every other shipping services accounts for this. Instead, Easyship flags it as an error, and FORCES me to manually open the zip code field and delete the digits after the hyphen to get my package approved. As much as I like the other qualities of your service, this one issue has caused a large amount of busywork and opened up a potential point of failure. I should never be editing a customer's address unless I have a good reason to, and certainly shouldn't HAVE to just to get the form to update properly. Please fix this issue.
