Have been using Easyship for over two years, although their dashboard has improved their customer service has gone massively downhill. I have been trying to sort out an issue for 10 weeks now and they just don't seem to care. I will be leaving them for another 3PL service. Would not recommend them!

They charged me for 23kgs when my item was only 1.5kgs and then a redelivery fee (for supposedly 3 attempts) when tracking shows 1 attempt & taken to depot within 2hrs, no other attempts To dispute they asked me for specific photos showing product in box with measurements and weight showing which i did. Its been over a month and still funds not returned!

They lure you in with promises of good rates but afterwards you get charged a second time for what they call a discrepancy and without advising you about it. I have been weighing and measuring each and every parcel to ensure i get the best possible shipping cost but eventually they double charge and they really don't care when you ask for an explanation. They just take more money without notice. Seriously not worth your effort or money. Find a much more reliable and trustworthy company

Hi Alby, Thank you for providing your feedback, however we must take issue with the points you have raised. Our rates are consistent, however we must take adjustment fees into account. In your case, the weight and dimensions you provided for your shipment were not accurate. As a result, we were charged an additional fee by the Courier, which we then passed on to you as this was a result of the incorrect details being provided at the outset. We tried to explain this to you and I'm sorry you did not accept this explanation, for full details on how to avoid adjustment fees, please see this article from our Help Centre - https://support.easyship.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039684252-Shipping-Charge-Adjustment-Weight-Size If there is anything more we can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach out. Hi Alister, Thank you for your feedback. As we discussed, the messages you sent requesting that your account be closed were not received. As soon as we became aware of your request, we closed your account as instructed. We hope in the future you're able to give Easyship another go! All the best, Easyship
Ryan
Hi Ryan, I did not get any info and help I did asked. I only get auto-anwer about how busy you are. I'm really did NOT understand : 1. Why my shipment to RUSSIA from NJ that was send on Jan 21 on Feb 8 still in USA? 2. Why it is in MIAMI FL ? Oxana Tarynina
Response from EasyshipFeb 22, 2021
Hi Tarynina, We've tried to contact you via email to explain the situation to you. Your order is what we call a 'Hybrid' shipment. This means that the shipment is initially picked up by a Courier that offers a pickup service and is delivered to one of Easyship's Consolidation Centre's, in this case, Elk Grove Village, where it is then relabeled and handed over to the Courier that you originally selected. This is common for Couriers like APC, DHL eCommerce, SF Express and others. Full details about how this works can be found in our Blog post here - https://www.easyship.com/blog/easyship-hybrid-solutions Please get back to us via email and we will continue to assist. Kind regards, Easyship

Edited: 23/2/2021 The point why I’m posting reviews on Trustpilot is because your customer care had stopped answering my emails once the problem started and the person that I had a number for had blocked my number and any other number I would call from. The fact that you’re simply waiting for UPS to bring the lost box to you is not a solution, it’s doing absolutely nothing. I am the one chasing UPS even though from their perspective I’m not the sender. I even offered to visit their warehouse myself to look for the lost box. Your team here in London has zero initiative. I’ve lost a shipment with a value worth of £24,000 that can cause my business to plunge. You’re not taking this seriously enough; go to UPS yourself, call the police, sue them….I don’t care what you do but it’s better than doing nothing. 28/1/2021 Easyship isn’t doing anything about my lost shipment that I sent 2 months ago so I decided to contact UPS myself; they told me no investigation is taking place so I initiated one myself. After the 8 working days for UPS to carry out their investigation, UPS told me they’re not allowed to give me the outcome of the investigation because easyship is considered the sender. UPS told me they gave easyship an update, but I haven’t heard from them. Yesterday I emailed them asking for the update/status and still no word from them. They almost never respond to emails. This has been going on for nearly two months now. Never in my life, anywhere in the world, have I dealt with such negligence and customer service doing absolutely nothing.

Hi Hassan, We will continue to discuss this matter via email internally but a public response is required from us due to your comments. Easyship is a comparison tool, we give our users access to our enhanced rates with couriers, like in this case UPS. However, once the package has been picked up or dropped off, it is the responsibility of the courier that you have chosen. As always, in the event of a delay, or loss we will work extensively withour courier partners to get the best possible result for our customers, as we are doing in your case. Unfortunately we have to wait for the courier to make a decision and we are not in a position to change this decision. We will continue to work with UPS on your behalf to get the best possible result for you. Easyship

Easyship "flagged" my first review, so I'm reposting it. If you are an e-commerce merchant, I would strongly advise you to STAY AWAY FROM EASYSHIP. This is my first-hand experience as one of their client for 3 years: If it was only the lost parcels, poor logistics services and extremely late deliveries, I would have simply stopped using their service quietly without posting negative reviews, because I know nothing can be perfect and it is hard to start and grow a business. But after I realised (by chance, while looking at my credit card statement for something unrelated) that they charged me hundreds of dollars in the past 8 months, and they subsequently refused to refund it despite black and white emails from their team saying that they would not charge me, I realised that it was not just INCOMPETENCE but also DISHONESTY. I have given them a fair chance to make it right (58 back and forth emails to be precise) but even after escalating to their regional head Eric Mui and their head of customer service Ryan Beardsley. Easyship also has an interesting way to take some extra money from you: there are A LOT of "adjustments" that are charged after the parcel is shipped, due to what they claim to be "chargeable weight discrepancies". I have personally weighted parcels to the nearest gram before shipping them, and still been charged extra $50-60 for most shipments. I have tried to get an explanation but was told that my weight was wrong, so I am assuming that it is part of their business model to lure customers with lower prices and charge them more once it is too late to improve their margins. As you can see from the other reviews everywhere on the internet, many of their other customers have also been experiencing that innovative margin improvement practice. Conclusion: I wish someone had warned me before I started working with Easyship for my business, and I hope that my warning will save at least a few e-commerce merchants all that wasted money and time.

Hi there, At Easyship we operate a Freemium model, with different levels and costs according to our customer needs, for example, you can use Easyship for free if you require, full details can be found here - https://www.easyship.com/plans In this case you had elected to use our fee paying service and continue to use your account over a period of several months. Because of this, we are unable to refund your fees as is our policy. As for your comments on Adjustments, these are the result of errors made during the shipping process when a user provides the wrong dimension for the shipment. As a result, we are then charged fees by the courier to make up for this discrepancy which are then passed back to the user as our policy. Full information on this and how you can avoid adjustment fees can be found here - https://support.easyship.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039684252-Shipping-Charge-Adjustment-Weight-Size Kind regards, Easyship
