Not the same as Massdrop
Real deals are few and far between. Sometimes misleading on RRP’s. Some items take too long to de delivered. Not buying as mush as I used to.

Since the rebrand from Massdrop to Drop, I feel like the overall quality and value of the items offered has seen a sharp decline. It seems like there has been a considerable uptick in cheaply made subpar products to replace the interesting, community driven products that used to be offered by Massdrop. Additionally, I have been greatly disappointed by the consolidation to a handful of categories, as opposed to the breadth of categories of products that used to be offered. I understand abandoning some of the more niche categories, such as automotive and writing, but I feel like others such as DIY tech and even knitting filled an important niche.

Your platform is not great. But you have exclusives I want. Happy to provide more information

This site used to be appealing to shop on. It had great deals on fountain pens or just pens and other accessories like kitchen utensils. It still had great deals on audio, but they have since strangled the pens department. They have expanded the mechanical keyboards department and that is great however whoever manages the site is very chaotic and disorganized. An example is the 2019 Re-Cap. There was no indication the thumbnails were expandable to show that the keycaps available were different from the stickied note links provided. All you need to do is take a look at the number of complaints in the Discussion forum. Perhaps the Re-Cap was too big of a project. Perhaps the Re-Cap can be broken up into 2 events. Why have all unsold inventory on sale at once? Chaos and in the end, I have lost interest in shopping with the site. The site features good items like Grip6 belts --which I saw, but eventually purchased off their official website. Things like their audio section are great and I was tempted to purchase the Tin T2 and the Tin T3, but ultimately decided to buy it from Amazon. I'm not sure I'd want to buy from a store or company that only has excuses when customers complain. I'd rather not give you my money. Gave me a bad taste in my mouth and now I'm choosing not to shop on your site if I can. Unless you are offering items that cannot be found anywhere else, such as Group Buy Key Caps and KeyBoards, I am certain I can buy these items elsewhere. I am taking particular offense from Elbert Suen who has repeatedly dismissed not only my complaints about that sale, but others as well.

The variety and usefulness of products has diminished dramatically in the last year. I see the same products over and over and less variety than ever before. Massdrop was a good site for learning about products within my interests and finding discounts. Drop seems focused on their own redundant collaborations. I've been considering unsubscribing
