Stay away from this company. I was nice and reported a low pressure coming up on the dashboard. The person checking me in thanked me. They charged me $200.00 saying that I damaged the tire. This is how I received the car thinking that it needed air as the car was not driven and it was on the chilly side. I went to a gas station and had the mechanic check it out and he said that it is not the tire but a problem with the computer reading the tire pressure.

Des voleurs, a éviter. J'ai loué une voiture a Marrakech, j'ai une carte gold credit, il veule une carte crédit avec les chiffres et nom en relief pas lisse. C'est vraiment du vol, tout ça pour te coller leurs assurance et payer beaucoup plus que le prix initial. A éviter

I had a reservation for an economy car. At Newark airport they told me they didn't have a car i reserved and they will give me an upgrade. They didn't tell me I would be charged for it. I signed the contract without realizing the extra $100, When I returned the car they said my contract was closed and they cant do anything about it. They told me the same thing after I called the customer service.

Update on my previous review. They contacted me after reading it (so they do read your experiences and comments) and offered me 20 dollar refund toward my deposit that I STILL have not received. They claim the money was deposited but I have TD bank. I've used budget, payless cars even Hertz. It has never taken this long for my deposit to return. It has resulted in 2 overdraft fees on my account. As I now read the other horror comments between the very few positive. Looks like I won't be receiving it for 100 days? The toll fee has also hit my account for 78 dollars for 2 tolls you can't pay cash for. I'll give 2 stars in theroy for the attempt to look competent and caring on paper. The service I still wouldn't and will not be recommending elsewhere or to any party.

BEWARE!!!! Do not trust them!!!! These off site (away from airport) car rentals are scammers! Drivo rental car from Newark double charged me for tolls and got away with it. My bank is unable to recover my money. I had to cancel my debit card and request a brand new one. I rented a vehicle from them in May 2026. First of all they pressured me into buying their liability insurance which I later found out is one of their scam tactics. I already purchased insurance through the online service offered from Priceline but Drivo told me I still needed to purchase their liability as well. Additionally in June I noticed a charge on my account from them which I assumed was the tolls but they did not send an invoice so i called them and had to ask why I was charged, after a few hours they finally sent the invoice for my review. I thought all was well and we were done with any upcoming charges well I was wrong…. In July I noticed another charge and after calling they sent me the invoice for my review. Upon reviewing I noticed that all of the toll charges on the invoice in July matched several of the toll charges from June!!!! So essentially I got billed again for several of the exact same tolls with the same date, same time, and same toll numbers. I immediately called them and told them what happened they told me they would have a supervisor call me within 24 hours and to not report the charge to my bank because the supervisor “might” be able to refund me well I was wrong again!!! I called back the very next day (after the charge went through) and they told me there was nothing they can do and they will not refund me… I submitted all my evidence to my bank and my bank tried to recover the funds from their bank but ofcourse their bank is declining to refund me. I am going to continue to fight for what is right but I would like to tell everyone to run as fast as you can away from DRIVO. They are a huge scam and will continue to charge your bank a numerous amount of times and won’t send an invoice/receipt unless you catch the charge and call them and even then they will refuse to refund you even if they charge you twice. They are deceptive scammers! Do not trust them with your business and/or any credit or debit cards! Beware!

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! Where is the ZERO when you need it?! They charge for EVERYTHING! I rented a car from them and was charged $200 for a nail in the tire when I actually had to fill up the tire with air from day 1! Charging an expense to the renter for typical road hazard THAT YOU CANNOT SEE & IS UNPREVENTABLE IS RIDICULOUS!!! No one can see a nail in the road in order to even prevent that from happening! THIS IS UNCALLED FOR!!! I will be calling the BBB and disputing this charge with my cc company! If I could give them a ZERO, I would! I'm so angry about this! ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!
