The scents are good. However, my order was made into A Subscription, which I never wanted. All of a sudden I'm charged for another purchase, which feels sneaky wrong. Now that this happened, I will never order from Drift again. I simply want to place an order without being tricked into a subscription.

I had to email about my second order and didn't receive it until 2 months later

The product, fine..whatever. But even if you choose a single one time purchase, they sign you up for a subscription without notifying you. You don’t receive a subscription confirmation via email nor a notification when your next subscription is about to be fulfilled. I got hit with a surprise billing and shipment at 2 AM. Reached out to customer support about this issue. I got ghosted within 12 hours. Had to call my bank and have my card canceled just to avoid billing from them because you can’t delete your card information off their site. BS company with BS ethics.

Product smells nice, especially like the plug-in. HOWEVER, I discovered that, while I only placed an order once, I was automatically enrolled in a subscription that I did not consent to. The cancellation process of that subscription is convoluted and confusing. I feel that this company is guilty of deceptive business practices, essentially doubling your order without your knowledge or consent.

I have no major complaints about the scents themselves, aside from the fact that the selection is somewhat limited. My biggest issue with Drift has been the customer service and the way they handle subscriptions. I originally had an issue with my device leaking during a move, which eventually caused it to stop working. To be fair, Drift handled the replacement quickly and sent me a new device without much hassle. I returned the defective one as requested, so I had a positive experience with customer service at that point. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since then. Drift has been revamping its website, and during this process, customers apparently lost the ability to manually skip subscription shipments the way we could previously. Because I don't go through the scents quickly, I don't need a refill every month. This means I've had to contact customer service **every single month** to skip my subscription. That was already inconvenient, especially with an extremely busy schedule, but I was willing to deal with it because I liked the product. August 2026 was the last straw. I contacted customer service to cancel my September shipment. They replied almost immediately saying they suddenly **couldn't locate my account**, despite the fact that I've been emailing them practically every month this year for the exact same reason. After that initial response, it took DAYS to get another response. I had to keep emailing them because I was trying to prevent the order from being shipped. Eventually, the order was shipped anyway. Then, conveniently, I received a response telling me that because the order had already been fulfilled, there was nothing they could do. I explained that this was not acceptable and specifically told them that I wanted my membership canceled. **They never responded.** I finally had enough time to log into my account myself today, only to discover that my membership **had not been canceled at all.** I ended up canceling it manually myself. That's an incredibly frustrating customer service experience. I don't mind paying for products or premium services when a company treats its customers with respect, communicates clearly, and makes an effort to build a relationship with the people supporting its business. What I don't appreciate is feeling like I'm being treated as nothing more than another subscription payment. It's especially disappointing because I genuinely liked the scents and wanted to continue being a customer. But good products don't make up for poor customer service, especially when the company makes it unnecessarily difficult to manage a subscription that **I am paying for.** At this point, I would rather take my money elsewhere. It's a shame because I enjoyed the product, but I don't want to continue supporting a company that has made something as simple as skipping or canceling a subscription this difficult.

I canceled this subscription and they kept sending me the item. After emailing they refused my return for refund. The subscription is also pretty sneaky. Honestly I liked the product but the service has been so awful I will never bother with this again. Plenty of other products of the same quality
