I called my local hospital for an appointment and the soonest they could get me in was almost 2 months! I’ve been getting my Finasteride from an Australian company online for years (without a prescription). Shipping usually took over two weeks but recently, my order never showed up. When I only had a few pills left, in desperation I did some googling and found several sites online that provided prescriptions with online consultations. After getting more details, Dr. B seemed like the cheapest. They didn’t charge a monthly subscription like a lot of the others and the consultation was only $15. AND their website quoted a 90 day supply of finasteride was only $15 (from Walmart). All this seemed almost too good to be true but the TrustPilot score was so high and I was only risking $15, so I did the online consultation. It took less than 5 minutes. Pictures of my hairline, pictures of my license and a few questions and I was done. During business hours, my prescription was sent to the pharmacy of my choice and my order was ready that day… not 2+ weeks I normally wait to get it in the mail. I did have one issue and I can help you prevent it. The discount pharmacy card they give you is actually provided by a company called SingleCare (it’s a free service. They’re not giving you anything you can’t get on your own). They tell you this if you contact their customer service as I did when running into price discrepancies. My order was supposed to cost $15 from Walmart but it ended up being $41. They suggested I contact SingleCare directly. Instead, I went to SingleCare’s website and searched for finasteride using MY ZIP CODE. Once I did this, it did in fact tell me that Walmart charged $41… but Kroger only charged $9.71! It was even cheaper than I originally thought. Again, SingleCare doesn’t cost anything. You register a free account and they give you a virtual card that can be used to get discount prescriptions. You can even request a physical card in the mail. Another added bonus, they give you $3 off your first prescription so my 90 day supply only cost $6.71. And every time you fill a prescription, they give you a $1 “bonus” that can be used to reduce the cost of future prescriptions. Altogether, my 90 day supply, with consultation, cost $21.71. That’s way cheaper than what I was paying from my original source AND my order was ready within hours.

After not wanting to continue to pay high fees to my dermatologist just to get a medicated shampoo prescription refilled, I decided to try Dr. B. The process was very straight-forward. I just had to answer some questions, supply proof of who I was and my condition. An NP was assigned to my case and soon after, my prescription was filled! And at my regular pharmacist. Very quick turnaround. The whole experience went very smooth. And cost me only $15, which is completely fair for just a simple Rx refill.

Wow, they exceeded my expectation! They delivered on their promise, offering affordable care. Within 24 hours, I did receive my prescription and they even offered a discount card that lowered the price better than rx. NOTE: It did take a good 40 minutes to fill out all the information and it probably is a faster response if you just pay the $15. Overall, a fantastic experience and I highly recommend!
