I’ve used Dr B a few times now. There are times when I know what I need. A sinus infection, a cold sore, antiviral for Covid, etc. Dr B is AI powered and reviewed by an actual physician before an Rx is sent - but wow it’s fast, polite, to the point, and affordable. They even have discount Rx cards should you need one. If you aren’t sure if what you need is covered by their service they have a list. It’s the best and it’s right from my computer.

Very Disappointing
Very, very disappointing, and frustrating especially since I was a satisfied customer of Dr. B. I used Dr. B during the Covid pandemic and received Paxlovid that really helped me through the infection. Everything worked like clockwork. Not so on my second interaction with them. Yesterday I contacted them for a consultation for a sinus infection that developed after a respiratory infection. I have been suffering with it for over 4 weeks, and the Dr. B website offers consultation for sinus infections. When I applied for a “consultation”, the system refused to even initiate a consultation, and basically said “consult your primary physician” for this problem. When I pointed out, to their customer service department that I did not have a primary, their response was basically: “Lump it” “we are very interested in your getting care” “but lump it nevertheless”. I asked why they had sinus infections as a condition for which they offered consultations if they did not provide them, (it seems like a legitimate question as I wasted a lot of time trying to get something they claim to offer) and I got a patronizing, canned, response to the effect that “we know what is best for you, even without consulting with your regarding your illness”.
After interacting with customer service unsuccessfully, I used a rival service, and the experience was seamless, incredibly helpful and sensible. I will not waste my time with Dr. B in the future, and you should not either…
PS: I just read Dr. B’s reply, which is a good example of their “canned” response to me when I questioned how they determined that a “face to face” consultation was necessary. They never asked me for any information that they could have used to make that determination, or explained the factors they used in denying me care. I subsequently used “Call Doctor,” whose services were cost effective, efficient, thorough and easy to use. Within 2 hours of my consult, they prescribed me an antibiotic, amoxicillin, that is working fabulously on my sinus infection. By the way, I am not someone who over uses antibiotics, it’s been over 6 years since I’ve had the need….
