They're a self-righteous company whose customer service is "never in the wrong." Worse yet, their website looks like it came out of the 1990s and is beyond clunky. But even worse yet? They try to nudge you into using their own formatters, which create a less-than-generic product. I would avoid them at all costs and would roll with something that's more updated and far more professional. Will be leaving them soon.

I have been on the Draft2Digital platform for a couple of years. I added a book as a test and according to them a few copies sold. This year I went to look at collecting funds from the sales and completed the tax interview. When I asked for an update because the process was taking a long time, they claimed that hundreds of frauds were committed on their platform from my registered business address and closed my account permanently without offering any solution. They called it "permanent probation". Basically they flat out lied to cancel my account and didn't pay out what was owed. The business address is not fraudulent and I haven't had issues with any other provider. It seems like something they have been doing to a lot of people from several reviews that I have seen. They need to be careful that they don't get sued.

Unbiased Testimonial: I worked one year with this company. It is nice at first. It pays royalties on time. There big asset is their paperback (Ingram sale)... Later, when i finish uploading 317 titles with this company... They said that my recent few publications are of poor quality... so they terminate my account... It is like i started from April and they closed my account on next year March.. (Fixed one year time) Pros: 1. They pay royalties on time. 2. There customer service is friendly. Cons: 1. They ask too many documents at first to start working with them. It is not normal industry practice. 2. They have Know your Customer which is i dont know but they ask authors to present all documents all to prove themselves. I never see any other company come up with idea of Know your customer after publishing many books with them. 3. If account is terminated you wont get any outstanding royalties. In my case i did not receive outstanding $1500 royalties as seen on my account plus after closing my account i dont know how many books were sold behind the scenes. 4. My books are still available to buy on Walmart even one year has been passed since they close my account. So, your books are not totally out of market. 5. This is website company of 11 people working not well established company. 6. Its income for authors dependent from Ingram spark sales. Now, we know Ingram offers free publishing so whats the point of paying 15% royalty share to this company when you can publish on Ingram for free... Recommendation for this company: 1. Give second chance to terminated authors like Amazon KDP ... Please dont make one time termination as forever as per there terms of service. Author can not make another account once terminated. 2. Do not ask too many documents to start publishing as no other company does plus it is biggest privacy threat....

Terrible company please stay away from them they NEVER email you back when reaching out to support. I reached out them over a week ago and sent two emails within that week and then they reply days later disregarding my questions and only telling me not to send 2 messages and wait a for reply on the first one. and then they delisted my books without ANY reason or NOTIFICATION at all. Piece of crap company, don't use them its for the better of humanity that they go out of business. I hate companies like this and you should too. Also Still NEVER heard back from support on any of my questions to this day. STAY AWAY!!!!

So far, i've had no issue at all. I haven't really made any sales, but then, i'm not great at 'selling' myself, so need some help with that. I don't know though, if anyone actually reads the book, as in, any of the companies that have taken it on. I've just had to re jig the book a little, as there were some spelling and grammar issues that my Beta readers picked up on, so i'm hoping i don't have any problems, re uploading the manuscript. All in all, 2 weeks in, i'm really happy. This review is in relation to an e-book.

I wish there was a zero star oprion to choose. Do NOT use D2D. I am fortunate to fimd out in less than a week that they are a really bad company. Customer service is poor, staff sent hoatile and venomous emails and the CEO supported this behaviour. If you want lots of drama, use them otherwise stay well away. You have been warned

About a year ago Draft 2 Digital published my book. I requested five author copies which I paid for. Three of those author copies had binding issues. Several pages in those books had loose pages. After an elaborate procedure to demonstrate that these books had loose pages they replaced the defective books. However, the ones they replaced also had the same issue. Furthermore, friends who bought my book complained of the same problem. I discovered they have an outside printing company that makes their books. Well that company is doing a lousy job. I would not recommend this company for your books.

I spent days reading their website knowledge base, re-formatted my entire manuscript for their narrow choice of POD trim options, created front cover art, completed all the required details, then uploaded as requested - only then to find out that they don't do colour! This was not stated anywhere on their website! WASTE OF TIME.
