It just terminated my account without prior notice but it insisted blaming me for creating another account when I didn't. My royalties are kept too.
And emails I have sent for clarification have not been responded to.

If I could give this company 0 stars
If I could give this company 0 stars, I absolutely would.
So, here’s the deal. After jumping through ridiculous hoops to provide multiple IDs (because they need to confirm you’re you, or whatever), they closed my account, claiming I failed the Know Your Customer (KYC) check. Funny thing? I submitted the requested documents within the 30-day timeframe, but apparently, they didn’t like the data, even though I gave them what they asked for.
And that’s not all—get ready for this one. According to their message, my account was closed due to “reported sales fraud in February using stolen credit cards”. I have absolutely no idea what that means or how it involves me. Yet, somehow, they’ve held my funds hostage while tossing around these vague, unproven accusations.
Customer support? A nightmare. They’re absolutely venomous, refusing to acknowledge any error on their part and sending responses like it’s all my fault. What’s worse, they keep your money while giving you no way to access it. They don’t care that this is a huge inconvenience—they just close your account and wash their hands of the whole thing.
To top it off, how are they reporting this to the IRS? They claim they can’t issue payments without valid KYC information, but that didn’t stop them from taking my funds. Honestly, how are they even allowed to operate like this?
And don’t get me started on Smashwords—what’s going on over there? It’s questionable, to say the least, and the fact that they use PayPal and Stripe to process payments for that kind of content is absolutely wild.
If you’re looking to waste your time with a company that keeps your money, treats you like garbage, and throws around accusations without proof, then sure, go ahead. But if you want to avoid all the headaches, save yourself the trouble and find someone else.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of Draft2Digital.

They don't deserve even 1 star
I wished I saw these reviews before wasting my effort.
They should at least give prior notice to authors before letting us waste our time registering. What reasonable company allows a user go through the hurdle of registration, confirmation of email and when it's time to log back in, your account is suddenly banned/inactive, without any notification.
This is a shady way to get people's data and dispose the users.
Trust pilot, please activate options for zero star, coz this company doesn't deserve my precious 1 star at allllllllll.

Messy merger, poor UI, bad FAQ
My account was finally merged to D2D last month and it's taken me weeks to fix everything they broke. Support could be nicer and the FAQ needs to be more of an FAQ than a generic read. They don't have half the information available to be read that should be out there.
Instead, you have to learn it by searching social media instead and hope someone mentions things like Apple's no competitor links policy. Smashwords had the same issue but at least their support staff were better.
They also allow authors to recruit others in an affiliate pyramid scheme and spam Smashwords etc. with AI-generated low-quality books with terrible covers and break all the guidelines, but because the leader of their little pyramid makes them thousands, it's okay for them while the rest of us get punished.
Overall, they're disgusting hypocrites who need to make things transparent or just ban third world country authors altogether instead of allowing them to register and apply before being banned because they can't verify their ID. The reviews tell the truth, but not the reason why they're being banned. D2D needs an overhaul to say the least, and hopefully a site that's user friendly than what it currently is.

terrible supprt!
This company has significant room for improvement in customer support. Despite reaching out several times via email, I did not receive a satisfactory response. Additionally, my books were removed without any prior notice or explanation. The lack of professional communication and attention to customer issues raises concerns about their reliability. It might be wise to consider other options.

If I could just give 0 star
If I could just give 0 star - I would - but there's no option here. Don't trust your business with this company - they will just terminate your account without proper notice and warnings. You will just receive suddenly a termination email. They will try to make it look like it's your fault and they have the right to terminate your account. They state in the email that I'm using PLR or AI - where in fact, I have written my eBook 100% unique, original, and myself. They just "perceived" it and assume they are 100% correct. Anyways, I told them don't "assume" an ebook was PLR or AI-generated just because you "perceived" it to be, which is not always correct. I also state in my reply that it's up to them to reinstate my account or not and I am looking forward to work with a "more" professional and transparent company. They are not really a loss. They just redistribute books to the platforms and that's it. They are not even a book platform like Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Don't waste your time and effort on them. There are better companies out there.

D2D is a scam and a waste of time
D2D is a scam and a waste of time. They will terminate your account without giving you warning or a proper reason. Ever since they acquired Smashwords they feel like they have a monopoly and can therefore treat authors with contempt and disregard.
