I have bought several products from Donner. Well pleased with purchase and service. Shipping was timely and items received when expected. Will definitely buy from Donner again.

I have bought numerous guitar pedals from Donner starting back in 2019. I have their Dark Mouse (RAT clone), Extreme distortion (DS-1 keeley mod clone), compressor, Dark Horizon (Tumnus clone), and their Third Man Records multi effect pedal, and I love them all! All are great pedals and a great value for the cost conscious musician.

Like their hush I guitar, slim and easy carry out.

We ordered the Drumset 200Max from Donner. The delivery was fast. One day earlier than expected. It came in a big heavy box and our neighbour received it for us. We found a 1-inch wide hole on the side of the outer box. Inside, it made a smaller hole on the Kick pedal inner box. Nothing was damaged. All the parts are packed in small inner boxes. It took me some time to put everything together, but it was easy. Our kids love it. The drum set was beautiful and fun to play with. I still give it five stars. The packing and delivery may need some improvement.

I was down. I was thrown out of our apartment by my girlfriend. A wonderful spacious place in the hottest area of Kreuzkölln. With a balcony. A place I enjoyed dearly, a place I even called home. Never called a place home before, it happened for the first time in my life. But it’s over now. I had to move, and I was lucky to be able to get to my old 1-room apartment. In an area which is maybe best described as Berlin Bronx. It’s ok there. I love my neighbours, but it’s small. Where I shall I put my bikes? I do triathlon, so I have bikes. I don’t have a piano, but I need music. I need music more than I need maybe swimming and biking. So the time trial bike already blocks everything, and how to fit a piano in there? And when you are down, can you go and enter a piano shop and try to become friend with a new instrument? I cannot. You would have to talk to the salesperson. Nightmare. You would test the piano. But I am absolutely mediocre. I would play the Aria of the Goldberg variations. I would maybe miss some notes. Embarrassing. I don’t have any Rachmaninoff to show off. It would be a total embarrassing setting. For the shop, for the salesman, for the music. I am not rich, should I ask for a discount? Omg. I guess even the piano wouldn’t like to come along with me. Could have gone to a Tierheim, an animal shelter. But that’s not the best idea if you are just losing grip on various fields. If it is already tough to take responsibility for your own life, you should not take responsibility for a little pet. I might be, as you have already noticed, socially awkward. But there seems to be a hidden core, an inbuilt safety feature which keeps me away from doing the most stupid stuff and alive. This is the moment when the Donner company got it into my life. I never wanted an e-piano. But I faced it. There is no space. There is no alternative. I cannot enter a shop, but I can place an order on the internet. I did. The DDP-80 arrived after a few days, in time. Easy to assemble, it looks like on the pictures. There’s one key (the lower b) which has a clicking sound attached to it, there is something untight. And the main power switch has sort of a malfunction and sometimes refuses to work. But I always played on pianos with little malfunctions. So I rate this features as a great plus. It breathes a little life into the machine. I like it. And I play on a daily basis. I recover. Even the music recovers. There are some parts of Bach, which I have maybe played a thousand times. They start to sound like music. Music in the castle of heaven. I am still absolutely mediocre, my repertoire is non existing. But I love it so much. I can work any time on a bar which doesn’t come natural to me. And actually there is no bar in the whole Bach which comes natural to me. I can play the E-major fugue, which is maybe the greatest fugue ever written. For me it is. I am afraid not for my neighbours. But you can turn the volume down so much that you don’t make them angry. The lady above me just recently had a dance party on the weekend, late after midnight. So if we ever get into an argument about my piano playing, I am sort of prepared. And I will buy headphones and play late after midnight too. This instrument keeps me sane. And I might have a date next week. Wish me luck. This is a big recommendation for Donner. They do exactly what they claim. They are cheap, the delivery is fast, the stuff works. It’s not a Bösendorfer, so it doesn’t sound like a Bösendorfer. The quality is definitely not the highest standard on the planet. But it’s not made to survive the next war, it’s not made to last forever. But I will be eternally thankful to this company for saving my life, for giving me an instrument which upholds my mental sanity on a daily basis. It’s a good piano, you can play wonderful music on it and become a better human being.
