Same experience as several others here. Company is a scam, avoid at all costs. They repeatedly say contact us by email, phone or FB message, but they never respond. I’ve been trying to initiate a return, but have received no replies to 5 emails and their online message system. Tried calling, but line is always busy, basically out of order. Tried messaging, but just receive canned answers telling me to follow the webpage instructions, so just a vicious cycle, delaying until I’m outside the return window. I’ll now be filing a complaint with the NYS Attorney General’s Office. Hopefully prevent them from doing business here in the future. Update-They did finally contact me (after this review) and accepted my return. Like many companies, they have decent products, but need to improve their customer experience. It shouldn’t be this hard.

Ich habe am 14. Februar eine Donner Hush-Gitarre direkt über die Donner Website geordert, die nach 5 Tagen geliefert wurde. Es sollte ein Geschenk werden. Sofort ausgepackt, alle Teile sind vollständig. Das große Erschrecken kam, als ich das dünne braune Papier vom Body der Gitarre entfernte. Auf die Länge von etwa 2 cm war die Kante des Holzbodies beschädigt. Ich habe sofort mit Foto reklamiert um ein Ersatzinstrument noch rechtzeitig zum Geburtstag zu erhalten. Keine Reaktion, weder wurde mir ein Rücksendelabel zugeschickt, noch wurde mir auf meine mittlerweile 3 Reklamationsmails geantwortet. Heute habe ich die Reißleine gezogen und bin vom Vertrag zurück getreten. Schade, dass der Service so mies ist, Vertrauen aufbauen geht anders.

I ordered the DDP-400 (digital piano). Despite being home, the UPS delivery did not ring the doorbell so I didn’t need to sign for it. The box was visibly damaged, with all the staples on one edge of the box ripped open. That same side was also very wet (despite it being dropped on on a dry deck). The box was also dented and punctured in other areas. The styrofoam inside was in pieces on one end and broken in other parts. The piano itself had same to the wood on one of the legs, as well as a huge dent and exposed metal that can snag and rip clothes, or even cut someone because it’s so sharp. I have to cover it with electrical tape for safety. I have tried initiating a return via email. After not hearing back for several days, I went to the Facebook “live chat”, which only has an auto responder. I have followed up two subsequent times via email, today being the third time. It’s been 14 days since I have received the damaged product and I still don’t have a return mechanism. Furthermore, the box it arrived in is so damaged, that it is unusable. I’m not sure what they will propose to return it.

Please read full review for full service issues 🙃 Donner DED 200 electric drum kit- reviews for the kit itself seemed great, and we found a fabulous deal on Prime Day, saving around £120. After Christmas, things went wrong. In the middle of playing, the main console, the power unit, the brain of the entire kit died. We followed trouble shooting guides, changed plug sockets, changed plugs, changed fuses, bought a replacement power cable, but no, the unit remained dead. We contacted amazon, who offered to refund on return, or for us to contact the manufacturer - the latter was my first choice. Phone number was dead, and after emailing twice, with no response, I tweeted them. 3 weeks went by with no response. I Facebook messaged them. I commented on their adverts on social media sites. And finally after 3 weeks and 6 days, I received a reply. They advised they could send a replacement part, but I needed to circle which part in the instructions, and then it would take about 35 days to deliver. I responded immediately, and asked where I needed to send the dead unit to. SILENCE. I gave them a week. 2. 3, and finally, almost 2 months after my initial email, I've sent them 11 emails. And they have still only sent that one reply. I've now instructed amazon to arrange collection, and a refund, and I've given up on ever hearing from them again. Their customer service/aftercare is nonexistent. I can't believe a company that appears to be fairly large and well thought of has such little regard for customer care. If your instrument works, then I think they'll be a great brand to buy. But if things go wrong, you're stuck, ignored, and left hanging. It's truly beyond belief. I wouldn't recommend this company or kit.

These people do not understand the concept of good customer service!!!! On five occasions over the past month I have tried to initiate a return and I still have not had any replies from Donner Music Customer Service. Such an approach to ignore customers is a quick way to destroy a business! Their advertised telephone number does not even connect! I think that my next step will be to involve the small claims court process.

Donner Music UK should be avoided at all costs. This is a company that does not follow the rules of internet trading and has appalling service. There is no way to telephone them, quote:"The current hotline is temporarily suspended, and we expect it to resume in May." What rubbish! Emails go unanswered most of the time and I have personally found their product advertising false/fraudulent. Go else where!

**UPDATE** This company has now had my return in their possession since January 30th. On Feb 7th they emailed me and promised I would receive my refund in 8-15 business days. It's been 6 weeks since my refund was promised, and still NOTHING! This company is an absolute joke! BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased the hush guitar, but it wasn't suited to my needs. I requested the return info, but their "customer service" failed to provide me with that information for well over a months time. It wasn't until I threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau that they actually provided the return address. The guitar has now been in their possession for over a week (I paid for tracking, as my trust is completely lost in this company) and nobody will confirm receipt of it, let alone provided my refund. I've sent multiple emails, but still, crickets. This has now been MONTHS that I've been trying to get my return completed. Weeks would go by with ZERO response to my chain of emails. To add insult to injury, I had to pay for the return out of my own pocket, so now I'm out that $. This company is absolutely terrible. Customer service is non existent. I would give zero ☆'s if that was an option.
