I honestly didn't think they would be able to help me, but boy was I wrong. I appreciate a company who is transparent with me and answers my every question. I've tried using 2 other companies and they failed me. After speaking with Done with Debt I slept for the first time in almost 6 months. This is a SCAM!
This is a SCAM! They also have another name - Verify Debt Solutions Inc. They OWN the debt collection companies that your debt got sold too. I was in the program close to 3 years and it ruined my credit. I got out of the program because they change the timeframe to make it longer or give you an exact timeframe and wont change your monthly payments to reflect lower balances. I paid them thousands and the collections never leave your credit report even when it's almost paid off. They still have the original amount that is as much as you owed and the small amounts left you owe. I have disputed several times with my credit reports and It got worse! Steve Bannon / War Room should be ashamed of themselves that they endorsed this scam! He no longer does endorse them and now I know why. You are better off to file bankruptsy or get a loan yourself/negotiate the debt yourself before they destroy your credit. They own your debt and destroy your credit and it will be worse than befoe you started the program.

We’re sorry to hear about your frustration, but there are several significant inaccuracies in this review that we need to clarify.
Done With Debt does not purchase or own consumer debt, own collection agencies, collect debts, control client funds, or negotiate and settle debts. Our role is to educate consumers about available debt-relief options, help determine whether a program may be appropriate for their circumstances, assist with enrollment, and provide support.
The potential impact on credit is also not hidden from clients. Before enrollment is completed, there are multiple disclosures, recorded acknowledgments, and welcome calls explaining what participation entails. Clients are specifically informed that their credit can be negatively affected and that the process may feel worse before it gets better. These risks are also disclosed on our website.
We also want to clarify the statement that thousands of dollars were paid to Done With Debt. Done With Debt does not receive or control a client's monthly program deposits. Those funds are not being paid to or held by our company.
Most importantly, Verify is not Done With Debt, is not another name for Done With Debt, and is not owned or controlled by Done With Debt. Verify is a completely separate, independent third-party company that took over the servicing of this file years back. This individual's file has not been serviced by Done With Debt for years. Questions regarding subsequent payments, account balances, credit reporting, settlement activity, program timelines, or other servicing decisions should therefore be addressed directly with Verify, the company responsible for servicing the file during the period being described.
We understand that debt relief can be a difficult and lengthy process, and it is not necessarily the right solution for everyone. However, the allegation that Done With Debt secretly owns a client's debt or the collection companies pursuing that debt is simply false and fundamentally misrepresents our company and our role.
We remain available to review the records relating to our involvement and clarify anything regarding the original enrollment. For concerns about what occurred after the file was transferred, Verify is the appropriate company to contact.
