Dollar Flight ClubReviews of dollarflightclub.com

I saved over $400 for a flight to Paris over Valentine's Day!

Totally deceptive subscription sale. The product is not great and you need to read the fine print. I’ve tried to cancel this multiple times, and they give some story about being a small business. The flight deals are not enticing at all. Google flights alerts are free and just as effective. I do not recommend.

You get attracted by a $1/year fee then, when renewal date comes by, you are told you simply go to settings, account then cancel the account in there. Not possible. Then you read the support page more carefully and it says "1. Log into your Dollar Flight Club account. Log In 2. Select the "Settings" drop-down from the menu on the left, then select "Account." And, because I have a "free" account ($136 so far) there is no way to access the payment method to remove the credit card after cancelling the account. Some people may benefit from the service but it is built on a scam premise and if I do not hear back from them this week, I'm going to escalate this to Consumer Complaints and Investigations - Special Investigations Unit in Alberta and the Consumer Protections Division of the office of the Attorney General in the State of Washington. --------------------------------- I received a note from DFC today and they suggested that I must have another account somewhere. I searched my password/account app and did not find a DFC account, only the "free" one. I continue to not like their recruitment program and especially the lack of early notification of pending renewal with the respective email attached however, the Support staff did reach out when I asked and they did clarify things so I have to give them credit for this. I was able to find my other account in my disused Google account and was able to cancel the DFC account. I apologize to DFC for my angry post.

$300 Savings to Washington DC I was skeptical that this service would work for flights going TO the US, but the platform is super customizable. Already paid for itself in one trip!

I got a flight alert to Cancun and was able to rebook my tickets for my family of 4 saving over 1500.00$!!! Woo hoo!

I signed up for a $1 trial and got no email acknowledging my subscription. I was certain it was for a year and put a reminder in my phone to cancel if so wasn’t using it. Two weeks later I suddenly have a $99 charge for a premium one year subscription. I immediately canceled and asked for a refund, but they absolutely refuse. This is scammy and predatory. Do not sign up with them. Also I got very few “deal” emails so the service doesn’t even seem worth it. Just do a google flight alert.

I have been searching for inexpensive tickets to Cabo San Lucas for Thanksgiving 2024 and all airlines were quoting R/T airfare from $1,100 to $1,800! Thankfully, DFC sent an email advertising flights for $400 - $500, so I was able to book 3 tickets for myself and family. DFC is a game changer when it comes to booking cheaper flights.
