There is no need whatsoever to make your annual fee non-refundable. I have gotten $0 in benefit despite a year of subscription, and surprisingly, I wasn't wading through marketing emails or tracking my DFC renewal date. Every other service like yours offers a refund in reasonable timing after a renewal.

They charged without telling me before, but in the end I get the refund. Not easily, but I got it!

Their business model seems to be charges on attempted cancellations. I cannot blame the guy I spoke to, he read his script and got to hear my disappointment. He did his job. But I am sure I tried to cancel before this time, and that I couldn't log in at times, then it left my mind until I got an unsuccessful charge reminder from my bank. I cancelled that day (renewal day) and I still got charged. I wasn't given a refund because T&C, but was reassured that they know a reminder of the upcoming renewal would be helpful, yet it is still not an obvious enough email ("Thank you for being a member" among so many other flashy promotions). Re the service: not applicable to Europe, and there are no bargains to be found. You can expect an excess of emails that don't apply to your chosen destinations. I was offered another year on a service I don't want.

Hi Abigail, We're so very sorry you're not satisfied with the service. We'd love to discuss your opinion more if you can reach out to us via our support team at [email protected]. Regarding any possible issues logging in, our team is happy to help with this if we're notified. We've not had any reports of any widespread login issues so it would definitely be something we would love to assist with regarding your account. We do send renewal emails for our subscriptions one month in advance of renewals to give people plenty of notice to cancel their account. Looks like you did receive it in this case. We take all feedback seriously in an effort to improve our service. We have some exciting updates and changes coming for the future to make our deals service even better! We hope you give us another chance in the future. -The DFC Team

Look at other reviews. They’re not lying. Wish I looked before doing the trial.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Like many have shared, you get charged for a years subscription & when you cancel & ask for a refund on the same day, they refuse. They offered me “lifetime access” which just shows how shitty their platform is because if you’re willing to give lifetime access, it’s not worth much. It isn’t worth much, they send you random flight deals that aren’t even part of your list of destinations. There is nothing to this software, you can find deals yourself using SkyScanner (like how they mention in their emails). You have to do all the work, all they do is send an alert. It’s garbage. Don’t sign up, not worth your money at all.
