I have used DogVacay once so far, but I am honestly excited to use it again. I found a sitter very quickly and was able to contact her and discuss my dogs' needs before the initial meeting. I live in Jacksonville, FL and found a sitter in Chapel Hill, NC for a weekend vacation. The woman who watched my dogs was exceptional and I was beyond pleased to leave my kids with her. DogVacay for the win.

I am so impressed with the first DogVacay experience. It was easy to find a good caregiver, easy to schedule, easy to pay and just an all around great experience.

Shawn was phenomenal and took amazing care of our giant love hog! He really did so well with our dog- it was our first experience leaving him with someone and we were positively surprised at how well our rescue did! It is a true testament to how talented Shawn is with dogs. He went above and beyond and we are so grateful!

I had a day to find somewhere to house my dog for 2 days. I was given a dozen choices in my area and chose Yazmin. She and her family took great care of my boy! The price was reasonable and the care was great! Thanks for accommodating at the last minute!

We were looking for a safe and loving way to board our dogs when we travel and DogVacay helped us get connected to a wonderful woman who took great care of our dogs in her home. Their process was very quick and gave a secure way for us to evaluate each other and to pay securely as well. We received prompt replies, excellent updates on our dogs while we were gone. I would highly recommend this service and will definitely use them again.

Having recently adopted our dog about 3 months ago, we were a little uncertain about leaving him, especially as we just discovered a health issue requiring daily medication. The sitter we usually use wasn't going to be available. Stumbled across Dogvacay, and it was the perfect solution. We found several potential sitters in our area, all charging reasonable fees. We picked 2 to meet with and both were folks we be comfortable leaving our dog with. The sitter we chose was very good with dogs, responsible and we had no worries while we enjoyed our holiday.

Our first dog sitter did not care for my girl correctly. He didn't read my note outlining her medication, so he overdosed her. He didn't pay attention to her and she came back with her nose completely ripped up. Second experience was amazing. She was a last minute emergency situation. She was excellent and very loving. Be cautious of someone who takes on multiple families as once.
