I had plans to go out of town , and the place we booked was not pet friendly. I usually take my dog with me, I couldn't this time... I was freaking out....my husband said a dog kennel. I wasn't exactly thrilled with that, but I said lets check one out. Well....the lady must of saw my face as she was showing me the kennel, and said you probably want something else, you should check out dogvacay.com. You didn't have to tell me twice, so we went to breakfast and I researched dogvacy.com. Wow...great app and site. I didn't even know something like this existed. I'm so grateful , because I found a wonderful person (Catherine) on the site to watch my dog. It was quick, easy, and so simple to do. All I did was pick the option of overnight boarding and put in my area and it searched the dog sitters near me. You can research the people on the site to see which will best fit your needs. It gives a breakdown of the dog sitter , a little about them and if they have pets. This is the best site I have found in a long time. I am so happy and grateful for Dogvacay.

This is a great service for dog owners that do not wish to place their family member in a kennel environment. There are reviews of sitters, what their preferences are (i.e weight, allowed on couch ,walk schedules). It cost me roughly half of what I would have paid at the kennel and I know my dog had a better time in a quiet/ chill environment at my sitter's place. I will definitely be using this service again and now have peace of mind to be able to book a vacation without having to worry about my dog struggle in a kennel.
