My dog is my "baby". She is with me almost all the time. When I need to leave town and cannot take her with me it is hard on both of us. Dog Vacay is wonderful - warm loving people that want to take care of my beloved pet. The hosts are accommodating and the prices are in line with kennel boarding for a much more personalized experience. My dog is so comfortable that she is excited when we pull up to our favorite Dog Vacay sitter and I have never come home to a sick or depressed pup. It has given me peace of mind for travel, knowing that my pup is happy, safe and well cared for while I'm away.

We had a great experience with DogVacay but we did our homework. Visit a few choices with your dog. See how they relate to you pet. Do they take on 6 dogs at once? Do they spend enough time with them? Is their house clean? Is their yard kept clean? Is it fenced? Do your due diligence!

Dog vacay has been fantastic for us and our german shepherd Sam. We were originally looking at kennels, but found this site offering a significantly better and often cheaper service. The hosts we have used so far have been excellent. Whilst we miss our dog when we are away, we have no guilt or reservations about leaving her as she seems to have the best time. It also provides an excellent opportunity for teaching your dog socialization skills. Unfortunately we are moving to the UK soon - we hope dog vacay will be available there.

I was very comfortable leaving my puppy with Cindy , her dogs are well behaved and had freedom to go anywhere in house, which my pup is used to. So she actually had a vacation herself and got to make new friends. I think she would have stayed if I let her! It was a great experience and Rosey will definitely be going to Cindy again. She got the best care. Thanks for such a wonderful caring provision for us pet owners.

I needed a four-day stay for my dog. The first DogVacay sitter I interviewed agreed, but a few days later, found out that work demands would conflict with the period we needed someone. DogVacay apologized, offered us a credit, and helped us find someone else, who was even more convenient to our house. She was a wonderful sitter, our dog quickly felt at home with her, and she enjoyed taking him for walks and on various errands. It was a great solution all around. We will definitely use that sitter and the DogVacay services again.

I've used DogVacay twice and had excellent experiences both times. Both sitters were wonderful and very patient with my two dogs one who has serious Thunderstorm anxiety! The site is easy to use and the sitters profiles make it easy to find out about the environment the boys will be in. I've already booked a third stay for my boys and will definitely use the site again in the future!

I had to trust someone to take of my cockers when I was in a bind with getting flooring in my house. Marian was so wonderful to me and my babies! I felt so comfortable with her we went away for a weekend and they stayed overnight. I have never let them do that before. I know she has their best intrest at heart. We love her!
