Great concept and was super useful with a new puppy who has unique needs (i.e. not all her shots). Everyone we met was super nice and great with sending photos throughout our dogs stay.

We have had nothing but great experiences using DogVacay - very easy to book (and change) reservations, and both sitters we have booked with have been awesome and take great care of our dog. I've recommended to many people.

When we needed a sitter last-minute to board our dog for a couple of days this summer, we looked on both Rover and DogVacay. It seemed like Rover had a lot of young people who "love dogs" but didn't seem to have adequate facilities or training. We found an excellent person via DogVacay who was highly trained in dog behavior, had a great, secure indoor and outdoor area for the dogs, and provided us with lots of updates. We will look here first in the future.

My 6 year old wire-hair chi spent a second vaca with Jane and Jon and appeared to be well loved and cared for. They sent photos often and gave me details of her stay when I arrived to pick her up. She was a very happy dog!

I messaged quite a few people and one by one was turned down because they were traveling or busy that particular week. I also used another site because it was starting to look hopeless. But I ended up finding a couple close by who were able to watch my dog. The drop-off / pick-up and communications during were effortless. I felt comfortable with how Bailey was treated and tended to while we were out of town.
