We had a wonderful experience. Our dog was well taken care of, got daily pictures and felt at ease the whole time we were away.

We were concerned about where to leave our dog when we went on vacation this year. The neighbors who used to keep him, were no longer available and we definitely didn't want him in a cage in a kennel. So, after some research we discovered DogVacay and booked a 3 night stay. When we picked him up, he was happy and well cared for. He had the company of a few other dogs and human companionship and had the run of the house! He was also walked several times daily. We highly recommend this company! You should be able to locate a dog sitter near where you live who has experience and been screened.

I would use this person again. She is very caring with the dogs and tries to make sure each dog is happy!!

Simple, less expensive and nore fun for your pup than traditional kennel boarding. The people I interviewed were all dog people, usually with their own dogs and the one I selected was great. Coby didnt want to leave he got so much attention. Great business concept.

DogVacay has been an absolutely wonderful service, helping us locate hosts to board our two young dogs when we're away. Kennels leave a lot to be desired and we were desperately looking for better options. Having our pets stay in a home environment with responsible caregivers makes us feel that much better when we have to leave them behind. It's also a good way to socialize dogs with different people and environments. We live in a rather rural area so have to drive 35-45 minutes away for suitable hosts but it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Convenient and easy to use

Dog Vacay has made it possible for us to leave town without worrying about our pooch! The thought of boarding him made me sad. I knew he would want more interaction and freedom. Now he gets to play with other people and pets. The hours for drop off/pick up are also better. This means we can usually avoid another nights stay. The process is very easy!

When interviewing sitters for our dog, Mattie, we came across Yvette. I almost hesitate to reveal how well she cared for Mattie the time we were away - the secret will be out and she'll be booked all the time ;) Pictures and short videos of Mattie and her new friends were sent frequently. If Yvette had a question, she didn't hesitate to ask. it was a very positive week for Mattie, who has never been at DogVacay. I will not hesitate to use DogVacay next time!
