My dogsitter Sandy was the best! My dog has separation anxiety and she handled her anxieties with experience and kindness. Would recommend DogVacay to anyone looking for a dogsitter for the day or over night.

This is a safe and very reasonable way to have somebody who loves dogs, care for your pet. The communication, video updates and overall professional attitude is excellent. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a loving environment for their pet. They truly take all the worries away from pet care.

We use dogvacay.com to book our weekly walks with our regular dog-walker. While we love the woman who takes care of our pup, booking through this website has some serious drawbacks. The main issue is the surcharges that increase depending on the number of days scheduled. We book 5-days each week (daily weekday walks) and are charged +$10 than we normally would because of the surcharges. This is a little outlandish, considering we have to do this every single week, and the dog-walker isn't cheap on her own. We went from paying $18/walk flat rate to $25/walk PLUS the surcharges, AND we moved outside the city! We are on the hunt for a cheaper option such as finding insurance and paying our current walker directly rather than use the website so we can avoid these fees. Overall: Dogvacay, please consider alternatives for your regular weekly customers. The extra fees are a real bummer.

This company has tons of sitters in my area so it was easy to find an acceptable sitter for my furry friend. The sitter that I chose provided excellent care, pickup & delivery, a fenced yard, walks, bath, etc, everything that I could think of to make my dog's time away just as much of a vacation for her as for me. Most importantly, she didn't have to spend her day in a cage like when she was previously boarded by my Vet.

I have used Dogvacay several times for my dog and I love the service. I have several sitters to choose from and the two I have used so far have been excellent. I know my dog is staying with a fellow dog lover and getting a lot of attention while I am away. I would rather give my money to another person looking to make some cash on the side than to a big kennel where my dog is isolated most of the day.

Allison had two dogs that got along fine with our Cairn terrier. She sent us pictures and feedback on how he was doing. We hate to take him to a kennel with all the cages, barking, etc. He likes belongink to a "pack". It's important to us to have him stay with someone that likes dogs. We plan to call on her again when we need someone to care for him a few days.

Our dog stayed with Lori for the first time and she (the dog) as well as we had good but separate vacations. Lori sent me photos and I had no worries about Molinka staying with her. Lori is truly a dog person and we would use and recommend her services again.
