DogVacay is a lifesaver!

This is such a great alternative to having to kennel your dog. There are times when you just can't take your pet with you, and in my case my dog has never been kenneled. This service matches you up with someone reliable to watch your pet while you are away. It worked out great and I will be using it again.

Found a trust worthy pet sitter that my dog loves in my own apartment building! The map feature allowed me to locate her before I even moved to the city. Also, I had peace of mind knowing that DogVacay vets their applicants and I was able to see reviews and photos of her place. Scheduling was also a breeze. Better than any similar app I've ever tried to use. Rover.com is a joke. I promise that they didn't tell me to write this, just wanted to give back because the fee they charge to use the app is almost nothing and I want to support this business so it sticks around. Only down side is that they don't have any sitters in my mom's small town yet, as she needs this desperately.

Dog Vacay hooked us up with some great people who took awesome care of our dogs while we were out of town! Reasonably priced and kept us updated on how our dogs were doing the whole time we were gone.

The doggie host was fantastic. The DogVacay Website is aweful. The mobile app is a little better but far from great. And customer service when I had to get them because Website was so bad and had a multitude of problems, was -- or at least tried to be -- good. It took me 3 calls because the site wouldn't process the payment and discount correctly, but all of the agents were so nice that despite my frustration I didn't give up.

Selena loved her week with Laura, Baby and Chloe so much that she visits her friends regularly once a week. Laura is fantastic with my fur baby. I can honestly say that whether I leave Selena for a week, or a few hours, I never have to worry about the care she receives. Selena actually gets excited when I tell her we are going to go see Laura!

Excellent Service - Only complaint is that the hosts don't have their schedule/availability up to date

We'd only left our puppy once before using DogVacay, and had previously used a kennel service. We chose to go with DogVacay the second time because we wanted our puppy to feel as close to the home environment as possible. Dropping off in a home with other dogs to play with made us feel comfortable. It's so reassuring to know he's with someone who has dogs of their own, and who cares so much about animals. While we were away, we got texts, pictures, and had constant communication with the host. It put my nerves at ease. We'll be coming back!
