i just purchased the iQ PLUS... straight out of the box it seemed like a nice fit to my hand... there is def 2 things i'd change to improve your product... 1) why did you have to make it so the transmitter and collar need to be together to turn it on and off... i feel this is a nuisance... 2) the rheostat dial is def a deal breaker for me... i tried setting it at a certain number and look down ,the dial changed... this is every time... let's say my dog decides to run after a rabbit, i hit him with the nick button... he yelps extremely loud and i look down the rheostat went from 12 to 46... i wish i'd seen this product in a store before i purchased it on line... def would have bought another collar... i'm not by any means saying dogtra is a poor product... i think you strike out on this collar... i'm now stuck with a collar i hate, but can't afford another collar....

Horrible experience with dogtra. Collar was shocking my dog at random when the dog wasn't even by the line. Took the collar off the dog, called dogtra they said they will look at the collar. I would need to pay to ship it to them and pay to get it fixed. Turn around time was going to be 10 days. I have had this unit for less then a year. Thats why i gave 1 star. Have a sport dog collar for training with remote. Way better customer service and Warranty. Pay the extra and go with sport dog.

NEVER AGAIN...BEWARE! I had purchased 3 of their units, and also replacement batteries. I recently ordered a set of batteries for $48. One battery did not work. They asked me to return MY collar with the battery. Then they wanted me to pay over $100 to get my battery and collar back. They did NOT respond to their local BBB.

Don’t waste your money on this product. It won’t do half the things it claims to do. It’s basically a toy compared to Garmin. Here are the issues myself and my brother have had (he has 2 dogs and I have 1): First, good luck downloading offline maps. The app constantly crashes anytime you try to save maps offline. Whenever you zoom in and out on an area, it will crash every time. It will take you about an hour to get it to work and save one small area offline. Second, the app constantly crashes while hunting. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve be mid Chukar hunt on a remote range and I’d pull out my phone to find my dog and the app would crash. I’d lose all the tracking of that hunt plus risked losing my dog. Thankfully my dog is well trained and will come with a whistle. But if you have have a dog that ranges, this product could lead to you losing your dog. Third, it will take you hours to get the collar to connect to the transponder. Both my brother and I constantly have issues with them not connecting. I can’t tell you how much time I’ve spent having to delete the Bluetooth connection and reset it and try over and over and over to get it to connect. Fourth, customer service sucks. First day I ever hunted with this product the antenna of the transponder unscrewed on its own while hiking and it fell off. When I called customer service to order a new one the person on the other end was extremely rude and basically acted like I was wasting their time. Do your dog a favor and spend the extra money for a real tool like the Garmin Alpha 100, and not this $400 toy. It’s garbage.

We've had our collar for about 3 years. It broke, and I have had to send it in twice, and have even been blamed for it breaking. No one will call you to let you know what's going on with the collar. I have been without a working collar for 3 months. I have should have bought a new collar from a different company for the amount of money I have spent for "repairs" that haven't been done and shipping costs. I will never purchase from this company again.

An internal charging mechanism went bad, these dirtbags do not honor the warranty that the product is under, even though they wrote the warrant. If you but I've of these expensive products, expect to pay a second time even though it should be covered by warranty.

Very disappointed. I bought dogtra e collar 1900 last year end of October. The remote disfunctioned by this year end of July. ( the level number showing on remote keep changing by itself which could be very dangerous for my dog) I called dogtra customer service. They told me yes my unit still under 1 year warranty but I have to pay the fee to ship my ecollar back to them which could cost me 80$ What kind of service is that! Wouldn’t recommend dogtra to any of my friends!

Faulty collar induced a seizure on my dog. It discharged while we were having dinner, the remote was off and no one was touching it. My dog is a GSP and he received the shock in the living room behind us for God only knows how long before we noticed. I drug him to the entry way while he seized and lost control of his bowls and vomited. Thank God I decided to move him because it was then that I realized that it was the collar because it was shocking me. I got the collar off of him as quickly as possible, but the seizure kept on going for another two or three minutes. We spent a very anxious night as a family. My kids watched the whole thing. I've never been so angry at a product in my life. The collar is three years old and is one of two, so it hasn't even seen heavy use. We rarely shock our dog and up to this point, I would have recommended this product to anyone but not now. This collar is going to kill somebody's pet. Ours shook for the rest of the night, would not get up and drooled all over the place. The next morning he was responsive and began to get to his feet. Our vet told us that we were lucky to have been home. What if this had happened while we were gone. Called the number for customer service and got an automated message saying no one was available to take my call. Left a message and have not heard back. If I could give this less than one star I would and I'm not the type to do this kind of thing.
