David Lombardino | DLA Editors — Editorial & ConsultingReviews of dlaeditors.com

Excellent and thorough review and editing of my ERAS application. They provided attentive editing for grammar and structure and constructive feedback on the content of my application. The downside was that they refused to send me the finished 2nd edit on the morning of the last day unless I paid another $99 and submitted the work very close to the deadline. I felt exploited, as the work was already finished (so no extra burden that justified an additional charge). Having that extra time to edit and submit my application before the ERAS deadline would have been ideal. This is even less justifiable since the first round was delivered over one hour late. Good experience otherwise.

I purchased the ERAS Application Editing & Feedback (2 Rounds) plus a 20% Peak Season Surcharge and was very disappointed that the 2nd round editing was not delivered on time, not even on the same day of the deadline. The most disappointing was the customer service! Their response to phone calls is a tertiary service that can only tell you what you can already find online. They also promise they will have someone calling you later, what never actually happened. Finally, as the deadline was very important to me and caused a huge stress on my day, I asked for a refund. The editor chief, who only responded to my third email, told me he didn't understand my request of a refund regarding a free service (2nd round editing), which was included in what I had purchased, not free at all. Finally, editing itself had some typos ad style corrections, but nothing really special.

At first I was not satisfied with the package I had purchased. After voicing my complaints over the internet chat box on the webpage, David Lombardino called me himself. He walked me through all the issues I was having and continued to work with me and eventually provided me with 2 outstanding personal statements. One of the better investments I made for residency applications
