I am very impressed with Distacart's customer service. This is what happened. At the Distacart website it says that there will be no extra duties. However, when I received the delivery I got an invoice from DHL to pay custom duty. Clearly, I was really annoyed by this. However, when I informed Distacart, they were unbelievable helpful. Not only did they apologize for the inconvenience, but they fully accepted responsibility for the customs duties/taxes. They subsequently asked for the payment receipt of the duties paid by me, so that they could initiate a refund for the same. This is truly one of the best experiences I have ever had as a customer.
