Distacart sells wide range of herbal medicine and products from numerous vendors like Himalaya pharmaceuticals. But most of the products they are selling are fake and fills by them or someone working for them. I am a Ayurveda doctor in Canada and use Himalaya products for 15 years for my patients. I recently ordered several packages of Mentat tablets of Himalaya and got a totally different pills in the bottles. The product were packed and sealed in original containers like original but they were brown color pills made of "broom sticks" or broken furniture. The original pills must be Blue color. I prescribed one of my patients to buy Liv.52 from Himalaya and he ordered it through Distacart. He also got 10 bottles of a fake brown color pills packed in the original containers. I complained this to Distacart but still not taken any action for more than 5 months

I recently purchased an item from Distacart after seeing it as a sponsored result in a search. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize at first that the item was not exactly what I was looking for—partly my oversight, but also due to the listing being somewhat misleading. The product appeared to be a good deal, but when it arrived, I discovered it was a miniature version—not the full-sized product I expected. After reaching out to customer service and several emails back and forth, I was ultimately told I couldn’t return it since it was past their 15-day return window. While I understand policies are in place for a reason, I think a bit more flexibility—especially in cases of genuine confusion—would go a long way in building customer trust. This experience has taught me to be much more cautious with sponsored listings and to double-check every detail. Unfortunately, it also means I’ll think twice before ordering from Distacart again.
