While visiting a friend in FL, she suggested that we visit Disney. I have cancer & this could have been my only opportunity to see/visit Disney. She purchased our tickets to the park not realizing that I wouldn’t be able to use mine because I’m not a FL resident. We arrived at Epcot this morning & I was unable to get my ticket. I was charged $174 on 7-06 to visit Animal Kingdom & the park was only open for another 3 hours…not even a discounted ticket with only 3 remaining hours left to use the park. The trip to Orlando was a HUGE waste of my time & time is something that I can’t get back! May your future good fortune be based on how you treat those that use your facilities!!!

Unfair Refund Policy
Unfair Refund Policy – International Guests Beware
As an international guest from Türkiye, I purchased Disneyland California tickets for my family (worth $946 USD) for June 2025. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our visit due to a sudden and documented medical emergency involving my child. We notified Disneyland Guest Services several days in advance, both by email and in person.
Despite explaining the situation and offering medical documentation, our refund request was denied outright. No exceptions were made, not even partial credit—not for a family traveling thousands of miles who could not use a single portion of the service.
What makes it worse is that Disneyland Paris, operating under the same brand, offers refunds in such situations under EU consumer law. The inconsistency in policy between Disney parks across countries is unacceptable and unfair.
After multiple attempts—including contacting the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the California Attorney General—I still have not received a resolution. Disneyland insists we must wait until the tickets expire in 2026 for a possible reissue, ignoring the fact that we may never be granted a U.S. visa again due to current geopolitical realities.
This is not about policy—it’s about compassion, fairness, and responsible corporate behavior.
I urge other international families to think twice before buying non-refundable Disneyland tickets. You risk losing a substantial amount of money—even in the face of emergencies.

If I could rate them negative 1, I would do it
If I could rate them -1, I would do it! All they care about is money! They keep trying to recycle and reinvent the Walt Disney culture, but it will never work! Their resorts and cruises are not the least bit affordable. Most of their production content is woke and perverted. This is not the wholesome American way!

Disability Discrimination & Poor Safety
We came from the UK expecting a magical experience at Disney World, but left feeling humiliated, unsafe, and let down, especially as a disabled guest.
I have complex medical needs (including POTS, post-sepsis issues, and use of a feeding tube). I was told in advance I’d likely qualify for Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS), but the system for international guests is completely broken. The registration link just redirected to the UK sales site, with no way to sign up. Even in person at Magic Kingdom, I was handed the same broken link. A cast member admitted this is a known problem for UK visitors, yet it hasn’t been fixed.
I was forced to carry out a DAS interview in the middle of Guest Relations, in front of other guests, twice. I had to speak openly about deeply personal medical issues in a public space. It was humiliating, degrading, and completely unnecessary.
After all that, I was told I didn’t qualify because my disability was physical, not cognitive. I was even told, “if you had autism, you’d be eligible.” Why are physical disabilities treated as less valid?
Then came a serious safety failure. Our 11-year-old son went on Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, and his seatbelt came undone mid-ride. He had to hold on tightly in fear. This should never happen. We reported it, and Disney took no real responsibility. Later, they offered us $125 only if we signed an NDA agreeing not to talk about it. In our view, this was an attempt to buy our silence, not address the problem.
We expected world-class service. What we got was exclusion, humiliation, and a complete disregard for guest safety. Other organizations like Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Center treated us with dignity. Disney did not.
Disney must do better for disabled guests, for families traveling internationally, and for the safety of children.

Not worth it anymore and they don’t include everyone
I must admit that I was a huge Disney fan when I was young, right up until I was a teenager.
But ever since 2020 when they went woke with their whole DEI agenda
The race swapping in their movies
Pushing identity politics on children
I cannot support them anymore
But the thing that made me boycott Disney completely
Besides their not so secret gay agenda that was leaked in 2022
I cannot defend them anymore
But what really made me boycott this company is them retheming splash mountain to Tiana’s bayou adventure
Once it was first announced in 2020
I never was on board with this retheme
Splash mountain is about the Brer Rabbit stories from African folklore
And as someone who has seen song of the south twice
It isn’t racist in any way
It’s a beautiful film
And these characters Brer bear, Brer fox and Brer Rabbit they meant so much to Walt Disney himself
Went to Disney for the final time in January 2025 and I do not plan to go back
