My Dad went into hospital a week before I left to Europe for a month, and I found out about his death at a small train station in Germany. Worse, I soon found out that his credit card had been stolen while he was in hospital and someone was racking up the bills. As the sole surviving heir and executor of his estate, this presented me with enormous problems. But having a prepaid funeral with First Memorial in North Vancouver made these problems so, so much easier to deal with. From collecting Dad's remains from the hospital, to reporting his death to the credit bureau, and filling out the death certificate, a prepaid funeral made things massively easier to deal with. And having a fraud protection policy as part of the arrangements is a huge relief and comfort. Thank you ever so much Deirdre and the team at Boal Chapel in North Vancouver! I thought that a prepaid funeral was only about saving money, but the services that came with it made it extremely worthwhile. I now believe that everyone over a certain age should have a prepaid funeral.

My family and I are beyond disgusted and heartbroken by what happened at Dignity Memorial Cemetery, River Grove, Illinois. A necklace that was placed inside a glass memorial case at our loved one's graveside was stolen, and the lack of security and protection for families memorial items is unacceptable. People come to cemeteries to honor and remember those they've lost, not to worry about theft and vandalism. The fact that someone could access a glass case and steal from a burial site shows a shocking failure to protect the property and the families who trust this Cemetery with loved one's memories. Management should be ashamed that grieving families are force to worry about theft at a place meant for respect and remembrance. Until serious action is taken - including proper surveillance, security, and accountability - I cannot recommend this Cemetery to anyone. Families deserve far better than this level of neglect and disrespect.

I wish there were 0 stars. Dignity Memorial has blocked the disentombments of both of our parents although we signed the contract and paid in full.

I have asked for details on services they provide, and costs of the different services. I have asked how they can help me when they in IN, and I am in MI! I have NOT received any answers to the questions. I should nit have to talk to anyone for the details and pricing the charge.

This review is written in regards to the Deborah Michelle Hawkins funeral service. Losing a loved one is never easy, but Dignity memorial provided my family with comfort and support during a difficult time. From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff was compassionate, patient and attentive to every detail. They handled everything with professionalism and care, making sure my family could focus on honoring our loved one without additional stress. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained,creating a peaceful atmosphere. Dignity guided us with kindness and meaning. Special thanks to Damon Henry and Brooke Jansen. They were helpful and made sure everything was done right. We are truly grateful for their support. We Highly recommend Dignity to anyone wanting a funeral home to treat them like family. I could not have asked for a better team. Dignity memorial will handle your loss with care and dignity.

Dignity bought glen abbey memorial cemetery my parents paid for pre need burial plots and funeral services I had to pay for there services due to they could not locate there contracts from 1981 they paid them after my mother passing I found the contracts along with payment receipts paid out to glen abbey the total glen abbey received was $32,000.00 it’s been a year after talking to Greg showing proof of payments he lead me on that he was to refund the overpayment they charged me of $14.000.00 then he told I needed to wait for Sean to call me to tell me he was not refunding me Now I’m taking them to small claims court How they treated me I told my granddaughter just bury me in her backyard I know she’ll take care of me better than so call Dignity what a joke

What makes them think they have to right to send ads? Who knows when I'll die but I'm living my life. I don't need them to remind me my time could be short. They are like vultures circling overhead waiting for someone to die so they can profit from it. There should be a law against sending mailings to elders. They should not be allowed access to my information. Scumbags is what they are.
