We want to sincerely thank Dignity Memorial for the compassionate care and professionalism they provided during our family's time of loss We have entrusted them with the funeral services for both my father and mother, as well as making arrangements for my in-laws. Each experience has been handled with kindness, respect, and attention to detail, bringing comfort to our family during some of life's most difficult moments. A very special thank you to Jeff Burke for his guidance and support. His dedication made a meaningful difference, and our family is truly grateful.

Dignity at Matthews, SC....mom had a prepaid plan (since 1994) and Shawn helped us make all arrangements remotely based on Mom's plan. The process couldn't have been better except in person. They honored everything mom had requested and if something was no longer available they did appropriate substitution. (Ie the $800 casket was no longer available...substituted a similar one that was now $4,000) The day of the service (which was a Saturday) the staff couldn't have been greater. From the moment we arrived, gathering time, celebration of life, interment, and a meal afterward (via their catering service with Honey Baked Ham) they were fantastic, just as they were in 1993 when Dad passed away.

My Dad went into hospital a week before I left to Europe for a month, and I found out about his death at a small train station in Germany. Worse, I soon found out that his credit card had been stolen while he was in hospital and someone was racking up the bills. As the sole surviving heir and executor of his estate, this presented me with enormous problems. But having a prepaid funeral with First Memorial in North Vancouver made these problems so, so much easier to deal with. From collecting Dad's remains from the hospital, to reporting his death to the credit bureau, and filling out the death certificate, a prepaid funeral made things massively easier to deal with. And having a fraud protection policy as part of the arrangements is a huge relief and comfort. Thank you ever so much Deirdre and the team at Boal Chapel in North Vancouver! I thought that a prepaid funeral was only about saving money, but the services that came with it made it extremely worthwhile. I now believe that everyone over a certain age should have a prepaid funeral.

We went to SELIM SMITH AND CO after my brother passed away. They treated the whole family with respect. My brother was laid out with dignity and was put together very nicely. The staff are very polite and cannot do enough to help will definitely use this company again.
