Once again, there is NO half star!! I already had a bad experience with DHL and see the review in my profile, so I was wary of the outcome when the Kickstarter project stated my book was sent via DHL. To top it all, they informed me that due to CoVid they were required to ask for an additional $60+ to ship it Internationally (Remember that!). So, intermittently I checked the tracking code to see progress. The days went by...It reached 33 ays in transit! I reached out to DHL and they washed their hands saying they handed it over to a local courier. The fact was/is, they gave it to the local post office, and the fact is DHL operate in my country. I paid for a serve from DHL. I assume I would have it delivered door-to-door! It's a disgrace that I now have to go to my local post office to collect it. This was a $60+ shipment that cost more than the book inside. Never use DHL!

I've unfortunately had MANY experiences with this horrible company as a couple of my subscription services ship thru them(I HAVE NO IDEA WHY)-needless to say, in the last yr n half or so, I can honestly say(I have a monthly subscription, also including other various packages shipped thru them)-that they have lost ATLEAST HALF of those packages, n nearly every single one has been delayed!!!! To date, I have never received so much as a single email in response to this, certainly not any reimbursement (other than directly from the company I ordered from-again-why they would stay with DHL is beyond me considering the amount of money they are losing because of them!)Or ANY RESOLVE WHATSOEVER!! Like I said, they haven't even bothered to answer a single ONE of my complaints. There is one particular location/sorting warehouse that my packages go thru every time, and EVERY SINGLE TIME, w/out fail, my package gets "lost" or DELAYED, but by WEEKS OR MONTHS!!!! HOW IS THIS OKAY?! Where are all of these packages going???!! They are absolute thieves and somehow continue to operate and steal/lose/delay packages on a regular basis!!! They're awful, the entire company, from beginning to end!!!!! BEWARE!!!

Good carrier, if they didn't say they missed you when they weren't there in the first place. Puts on hold too much. Extremely quick shipping but it always puts on hold.

they don't deserve your money. they stole money from me and package was NEVER received. Don't use them. They lie and take your money and your packages.Worst carrier service and need to go to jail

First experience worst ever Not worth it. Try other courier and please read their reviews before sending because that's the mistake I did... My package was sent the 21st of December 2020 and I was supposed to get it latest the 31st of December which is my wedding dresses (3 dresses) for that matter, they paid $260 to DHL for the shipping only... The dresses all together cost around $2000. I waited for it all the time, going back and forth to the door to check if it has arrived but nothing, I started getting worried about it cos my wedding was the 3rd of January, I started calling everyday finding out my package, tracking shows me that it got to Dallas the 24th of December but it's no where to be found, I started crying day and night trying to be patient with them but nothing... No one can explain anything that can assure you that you will get your package... I started giving up and finding other options for my wedding which was really hectic... Still giving me excuses about not finding it... Later then I was told that the package is lost and I have to let the shipper write a claim... He did and the next day he was told he'll only be refunded $170, I tried calling them again to talk to a supervisor but I was told that the supervisor will call me back, I tried 3 different customer service and they told me the same... It's been more than a week from now no calls, nothing... I am so disappointed with DHL and will never recommend anyone to ship with them... The worst courier service ever... I still want my package and not there money... I hate DHL I hate DHL I hate DHL... And I'm not gonna let this slip away just like that... I'll follow them to the dot... 😡😡😡

Their service is horrible...lost packages, over billing, brain dead customer support. My experience has been terrible with them - not to mention I find their rates to be a lot more expensive then other couriers when shipping from the US

Got a text that my package had been delivered..when in fact it hadn't and probably dropped at another address in error. It took 1 email to their Customer service and within 1 hour the package was retrieved and delivered to me ! This is Customer Service at its best ! DHL have a professional dedicated team totally focused on dealing with these issues and I couldn't ask for more. Totally satisfied with their assistance. Thank you DHL.
