Lovely space! I stayed in Room 3, which was small but suited me just fine. Everything was VERY clean. Loved the no-contact check in and mobile app to unlock and lock doors. I would have liked to see some disinfecting wipes at the coffee bar, but otherwise, I felt completely comfortable. Wifi gave me some trouble while trying to meet with coworkers over Zoom...I didn't mind (gave me an excuse to say "I'll catch up via email!" Hah), but might be useful for others to plan ahead. Great location...short walk to the Strand and short drive to the beach. Easy parking. Overall, I had a fantastic stay, and will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Galveston!

Loved the place! And a preserved 1886 home with wonderfully hip public areas and rooms! I stayed Domum for a single night and was in town for business. My only reason for not granting five stars was a lack of hot water on the morning of my check out (Had a wonderful hot shower at night but a lack of hot water the next morning, although I was in the shower before 7 AM) and for spotty WiFi TV connection. (TV worked once in the early evening on then day I checked in but would not work for me on thereafter. But then, WHO goes to beautiful Galveston to stay in the room to watch TV anyway?!) Other than that, the room was all that I had hoped, Beautifully appointed with the latest beds, linens, toiletries, black out curtains, with absolutely exceptional bathroom facilities! Beautifully functioning air-conditioning. The bed was pure bliss and absolute heaven, with fluffy pillows and wonderful linens. Extremely accommodating staff, made allowances for my inability to download the app that would allow me to bypass the magnetic locks on the exterior doors and my room door: Provided me with a physical key to allow me to enter my room! (Thank you!) And provided a free parking pass for me to park my vehicle in the permit-only residential neighborhood. The price is incredibly reasonable and the location, for me, gets me closer to everything that I want to see in Galveston – – which most often does not include anything near the seawall or the beach. I hope to return to Domum de Vence’ As soon as Darci and her friendly, professional, and efficient staff will have me again!

Great stay - awesome communication ... room as described/parking was easy and close to many local spots!

We had a great stay at Domum de Vence. It was very secure with easy instructions on how to access our room. The room and bathroom were adorable and just perfect for a couple. Centrally located, near some great restaurants and the beach is a few minutes drive.

Such a cute place and accommodation for my little weekend getaway! The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfy and the staff is so pleasant & professional. Would definitely book with them again. 5 ⭐️

We found the bed uncomfortable and could not sleep. I think it was too soft for us as were the pillows. There was no place to set our luggage. The sink was way too small. We couldn't get regular broadcast live tv. The outside of the house needs some work. I think they are relatively new and need some time to get the place looking better.
