Great stay! Look forward to booking again!

I loved the room and location. The room is very small but cozy. I do have some suggestions. Shelves in the bathroom close or above the sink. There is no place to put your toiletries. There is very little room on the sink. Also, a shelf or two on the wall in the bedroom would be helpful. There is no place to enjoy a cup of coffee while in bed. Maybe a small shelf close to the bed to put your cell phone, a cup, the remote or an alarm clock.

Great place to stay at. Small rooms but it's very comfortable.

This is an excellent place to spend the night. We stayed before our cruise and it’s about an 11 minute walk to the cruise dock. The room was cleaner than any of the high-end hotels I stay in for work! The temperature was adjustable, the bed was comfortable, free coffee/tea available at all times and the owners were prompt to answer questions and correspondence was professional and friendly. The décor was awesome - restored from original. I would stay there again!

Very clean, but very small. Bed was uncomfortable. No sidewalks to enter, very uneven stones. No handrail. Door locks are not easy to navigate. We had to park a v block away.

The room was very clean and updated. The house was old and historic which I love but the room was not small it was tiny. The queen size bed was surrounded by three walls so I had to crawl over my husband to get out of bed. There was no closet just a coat rack. The bathroom sink was one foot by one foot and the room was so small the bathroom door was a barn door that the tracks went over the bed so if the door was open you had to watch out getting out of bed. We got there at nine at night and left around eight in the morning we preferred to lug our luggage and stuff around Galveston than to stay longer.

I liked the hotel. I was alone. The room is great. It is not small and well sized for one. I liked the view from the window and the very cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The staff is at the level. I advise you to visit.
