Our experience with Destination Weddings was absolutely amazing! Our travel agent, Andrea Coots, was extremely knowledgeable with our desired location, communicated in a timely manner and was patient when the large amount of questions, we and our guests had. I can’t recommend her and Destinations Weddings enough!

Wedding Destinations and especially our Group Travel Specialist, Melinda Shelley, gave my husband Mike and I a true 5-star experience from start to finish from planning our wedding, the perfect day, and even after we were married. We looked forward to our personal individualized phone calls with Melinda who quickly felt like family to us as well as to our whole family and wedding party. She was responsive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly patient with our many questions. What would have been stressful became smooth as possible as we were a couple that wanted to focus more on the beautiful week with each other and loved ones more than stressing over every little detail. Melinda and Wedding Destinations allowed us to enjoy paradise with loved ones on our special day taking care of everything behind the scenes. We used Destination Weddings for our wedding in April 2026 at the Fives Beach Hotel & Residences in Playa del Carmen. Brandie was amazing! She helped us find the perfect location and resort that truly fit our criteria. She was very quick to respond to our emails and supported us throughout the planning process with the resort. I highly recommend her! We had an intimate wedding with about 20 guests, and it was such a relief to have her organize all the travel. It allowed us to focus on planning the wedding without the added stress. A destination wedding is honestly the best—the decor and everything were simply beautiful. The wedding was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t be happier.

From the very beginning our travel agent Karen LaSala made the entire wedding planning process SO EASY for me. She gave me videos and tips on what resorts would be best for our wedding party. She was very quick to gather information needed from the resorts and get back to me right away. We loved the fact that Karen was able to get all of our transportation done for all of our guests that booked through her, that made that part of the trip worry free for everyone going. The only thing keeping us from giving Destination Weddings in general 5 stars was that we wish it was communicated a little more that our guests were allowed to price match and have payment options through Affirm from the beginning. This may have allowed more guests to have enough time to pay to come. The weeks leading up to the wedding Karen was so helpful making sure the last minute details with the resort were ironed out. When we got home from our wedding in Cancun we were surprised with a very thoughtful gift from her. Overall I would highly recommend Destination Weddings to help make your wedding planning nice and easy - where all you have to do is show up and enjoy your big day!

Fives stars isn’t enough to describe how wonderful our experience with Christal was!! Working with her made our wedding planning go so smoothly. She did amazing at helping us navigate what we needed to do, helped us make decisions on what resort fit our budget and needs, and never once made us feel bad when we had guests changes! I seriously cannot reccomend Christal enough!

Working with our wedding group travel specialist, Andrea, was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process. We actually booked our venue sight unseen based on her recommendation, which felt like a big leap at the time. But she had worked with other couples who absolutely raved about Fiesta Americana, and she was so confident in it that we trusted her. Looking back, we are so glad we did because it ended up being everything we wanted and more. Andrea was incredibly attentive, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. Coordinating travel for a large group can get complicated fast, but she made the entire process feel smooth and manageable. She was always available to answer questions, guide our guests, and make sure everything stayed on track. Our guests also had such a great experience working with her, which made a huge difference for us. It took so much pressure off knowing everyone was being taken care of. If you’re planning a destination wedding, having someone like Andrea in your corner is invaluable. She truly helped bring everything together for us, and we couldn’t recommend her more.

If I had to grade my experience working with Destination Weddings, specifically Amy Boyce I would give it an all over A+ 100! I always expected this season of life to be absolutely joyous & perfect all the way through & it actually was not. My now husband and I experienced a lot loss during this season of life, our first fur baby, grandparents and a ton of grief and unexpected life. This took quite a toll on our planning and focus on our big day. From day 1 of being introduced to Amy Boyce she has been by our side day & night to offer guidance, answer all of our questions & be there for us in whatever way possible. With everything that we have gone through I would not change one thing about this experience and working with Amy. Other than her professionalism, she is kind, understanding & so very supportive. She remained flexible with us throughout our whole experience. She was extremely attentive, not only to us, but to all of our guests as well. She went over and above to ensure everything surrounding our trip and our wedding went smoothly. I cannot recommend working with her enough! We will forever be grateful our paths crossed hers & look forward to working with her in the future!
