What I like about Designer Audio Video is that they are no nonsense about free shipping. I've ordered speakers from them before as well as an Onkyo receiver. Designeraudiovideo.com simply is the perfect home theater solution for savings and yet bringing the high end performance to my home.

So far the order process has gone excellent. I contacted the company with a couple of questions and they were answered in a short period of time by email and I placed my order with the, A week later my speakers i\arrived (Definitive Technology UIW RLS II).

One of the worst companies I ever dealt with. I placed an order for $300-400 worth of speakers. My account showed the order was “on hold”. I contacted them multiple times and they gave me the runaround with excuses. James continually said he didn’t know why I they didn’t have the speakers to send to me. He said he would call his supplier and get back with me. He made all types of excuses and never provided an answer. His excuses ranged from “their supplier is closed for inventory for two days”...the two days being a Wednesday & Thursday, “their supplier is closed for inventory”...this being happened the following week, “their supplier is closed for the day”...this being around 12:30-1pm EST. The last conversation I had with him, he became very rude and unprofessional with me. He claimed that he previously told me in a conversation that the speakers were on backorder (which he or any representative at Designer Audio & Video never once told me). He said their supplier was probably sitting on a beach somewhere having a drink. He continually put me on hold because he had “other calls”. He said he was the only one working that day and couldn’t continue our conversation any further because of the call volume he had. What kind of customer support is that?!? Luckily my PayPal payment was never deposited into their account and it pasted PayPal’s 30 day expiration date to deposit so PayPal cancelled the payment and I cancelled the order online. Looking into this company further, I see a lot of reviews like mine and found this company is not an authorized Klipsch dealer. I don’t buy a lot of stuff online and have never left a online review about any company before. I’m leaving this review because they provided a terrible experience and I want to warn others to stay far away from this company...it is not worth your time or money!

This is a scammer. They advertise an item as being in stock and after you order it, they tell you it's not in stock. Then they try to sell you something else more expensive. You have to call them after every order or they won't process the order. If you want a retailer to play games with you, these are the guys for you. Otherwise, STAY AWAY. Owner/manager is also rude, insensitive and swears at you because you want to cancel an order.

After speaking with the rep on the phone and inquiring about DESIGNER AUDIO VIDEO'S claimed price match guarantee, the rep got very short and rude. He asked word for word, "Why would you assume that I will match their price." The rep's comment was in reference to another online company that does the same kind of business - buys up products at a discounted price, passes the discount to customers, and therefore CAN'T CLAIM TO BE AN AUTHORIZED DEALER (practically, that means all manufacturer warrantees are void). The business model is fine as long as they are transparent about this. After the first questionable comment, the company's and the representative's true colors shown when stated to me, "DON'T BE A CHUMP." Again, in reference their website's claim of price match GUARANTEE. Why, would you call a customer a chump for asking about the business' own claim on the website... In the least, one can objectively conclude, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. By extension, I would assume QUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY and DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Ordered five speakers from DAV online. Was a bit skeptical of the extremely low prices. I spoke with James on the phone and he assured me my order was in stock. Additionally, I messed up my order, so I called James and he took care of EVERYTHING! He even emailed me a confirmation of the change. Shipping was slow, but well within the 7-14 business days they advertise. I tested each speaker for sound and quality, and everything was perfect. Buy with confidence from James and DAV!

1st Transaction with them - A (+) - OKAY!!! I am a bit of a stereo-aholic. An entire room in my house is dedicated to vintage stereo equipment. Good high end speakers at reasonable prices are hard to find. I shop a lot online. Designer has one of the cleanest and easy to use formats I've ever come across. The information they present is clear and informative. Contact and customer service info was easy to find. I plan to shop again on your website.
