The best mystery escape box on the market. I love the stories, the puzzle and the size of the box. Easy to understand and always so interesting. My goal is to do all the boxes ever released. Thank you

Working through a Deadbolt Mystery Society box is one of my favorite ways to escape from reality. The stories of the box are immersive and require focus and attention. Typically I like to complete a box by myself--an average of 4-5 hours, split into a couple of sessions. With a group, I have completed one in about the same time it takes to watch movie. Many of the puzzles have an online component, so the contents of the puzzle are not confined to the materials in the box. If you get stuck, there are online hints to help (they don't give it completely away unless you need it). The social media groups also can be helpful for hints. I've been working through and completing boxes for about 3 years. There is an inherent dark quality simply because of the mysterious nature, however none of the boxes contain content that I would be embarrassed to have my pastor or my grandmother interact with. I highly recommend Deadbolt Mystery Society boxes for anyone who likes to solve puzzles or who is looking for a good group activity.
