The Deadbolt Mystery SocietyReviews of deadboltmysterysociety.com

We’ve tried many solve at home mysteries, but none compare to Deadbolt. It’s obvious that they love to solve mysteries too. They’re always coming up with creative ways to challenge us. For Halloween, they put together a 31-day printable set of puzzles. We’re having a blast with it. Soon, I’m guessing they’ll put out a special Halloween box. Can’t wait! Nothing is as much fun as Deadbolt!

I really enjoyed the little extras like the sticker and card. That makes me want to collect more. However I wouldn't buy if the puzzles weren't good. I'm really liking the puzzles

Ordered the Printable version and was flawless! Easy, fast download and easy to read after I printed it up! Now, I just need to solve it...

It was cute. We did 'A Rose Colored Murder', everything arrived as expected. I got it for my partners birthday as they like Murder mystery shows and escape rooms so thought this would be a cool combination. Overall I think this would be a fun family game to do at home with your kids, but I don't know it hit the mark for two Childless adults to do. I expected it to be a little more difficult. But over all a very fun and cute experience. The only complaint we really had is we didn't like that in order to proceed to the next envelope(s) you had to eliminate a certain number of suspects and we had to eliminate suspects for trivial obvious reasons that a kid would probably come up with, but as an adult youd be like 'uh they could still have done the murder'. For example something like eliminating Stan Smith because the murder happened on a farm across from the dairy where the cows are milked and Stan has a lactose allergy (Not actually a suspect or place in this box but a very similar situation for eliminating a suspect).

Great puzzles and compelling stories with an amazing community

I love getting my monthly Deadbolt Mystery subscription box! It comes on time each month, and I love how it is a totally different mystery each time — the theme and assortment of puzzles keeps it fresh and exciting! My family spends a few hours minimum each month working on the mystery. You can’t get entertainment for that price anywhere else these days. And after having to increase the price slightly, the company even added a credit to my account for “customer loyalty” and took a small percentage off the next month’s box. On the rare occasion something is missing, they are so quick to reply and send it to you (usually with awesome stickers, even!). Every time I’ve ordered standalone or specialty boxes, they always come with a nice handwritten thank you on the receipt. This company really cares for its customers, and I love supporting them!

Love, love LOVE your mystery boxes! The graphics are visually appealing. The writing is clear and interesting without being too simplified or flamboyant. The games and codes are challenging without being too hard. And the QR codes add to the fun! Thank you!

Shipped quickly, love the personalized note that ships with the box! Great mystery games, quality product.
