Good customer service. Good product.

The program did not fully integrate with my local MLS and after a few attempts the program would freeze up my system with an error. I reached out on multiple occasions where a tech actually accessed my computer and saw it happen. They notified me they would escalate it to upper tech support. After almost a week I received an email about how things were going and I stated what had happened and I still hadn't heard back. They stated they would look into it and sure enough, I received a call and an email stating I needed to get with my system administrator and Network IT person as it was a Network error. The only problem was it is on a stand-alone machine No Network. Once I stated that, I never heard back and canceled the service the next month. When it worked it helped the process but it still required double checking info. So although it seems faster because of the importing of data you are still having to go back through to make sure the data transferred was what you wanted. In addition, although they state the source as "Public Records" they are actually relying on 3rd party providers in my market, not actual Assessor, Recorders Office records.

The product is great. The price is expensive

Would be higher, but Dallas didn't get the updates that we saw demo'd last year at the North Texas Chapter Appraisal Institute conference. It showed a lot more features that had been or were about to be rolled out in other cities.

Great product but too pricy!

I have been using DataMaster for years. I still use the Market Conditions to gauge the market for reporting purposes. DataMaster is the best at importing the MLS and the public record, showing the differences between them in order to get the best report to my clients. It saves me a lot of time.

DataMaster support is prompt and professional.When I have called (which was seldom due to the excellent product)for help the tech was knowledgeable and through in assisting me with software conversion to BrightMLS. I do recommend this product to all my students and associates.

The product is great, and so is the support when needed. My biggest concern is the COST, that is the 5th star I would have rated your product. The Appraisal field has changed a lot in the fees received. Appraiser's are making much less than we used to but our expenses continue to rise. Any company that is a support to this field should shoulder that same decline in fee. There are other products out there that are much less. I will be exploring Spark, it is as well received as your product is 45% more expensive than Spark, and now the 1004D is no longer required, (for most Lenders). I need a financial break, if I change to Spark, I will save $480 annually. I pay about $600 for my Clickforms annual subscription, but I pay you $1,068, that's 178% of my main program cost! HELP, no really HELP!!!
